  1. hmmm... surprised i missed that thread lmao... been lookin all day... weird...
  2. I see, i think ill end up going with the 4 gauge... Although are there any parts that are more necessary to have 0 gauge than 4 gauge?
  3. ok, now ive noticed a few of the battery terminals have like designated holes for the wire... do u think thats better then just kinda clamping em under it?
  4. if you mean the flared or kerfed ports as some call them... Seen below This one is a Pound That Sound box. He also has a sub-forum in here also. You may want to look into his work. It is to cut out port noise. The little huffing sound that you may sometimes get with regular ports. and lets be honest it looks sexy lol Audibel Customs is also have quite a good deal right now for the same types of boxes, where its half off i believe. or free with purchase of subwoofers.
  5. Hey guys, im going to be using a sae-1200d with stock alt (110amps). I was wondering if i could use the 4gauge wire, or should i definitely use the 0 gauge. Also... What battery terminals do you recommend.
  6. Oh boy.... and im gettin two of these.... haha. FUN FUN
  7. Hmm, and the 2 gauge definitely fits the sae 1200d?
  8. nothing yet, i wanna see how it sounds first. and if i do get something for my highs, it wont be anything impressive. i have polk db651's in the front, nothing in the back atm, it sounds quite loud already, obviously it will seem alot quieter once i get my 2 12" lethal injections hooked up lmao
  9. Hey guys, i was just wondering if my stock alternator in an 1998 infiniti i30 will be good enough, its 110a. Also, double checking but is it needed to do the big 3 and also what amp install kit should i get.
  10. I think ill be picking up an sae-1200d
  11. All honesty... yeah i would love to make my own box too... but yah know what... when someone who is far more experience than me is willing to build a better looking, sounding, and overall better quality box... i decided to take him up on it lmao. I originally wanted a Fi BL, but this deal swayed me away from it. Then i was just gonna get a 15 Death Row, but then i decided to go with the 2 12 Lethal injections, pretty much same price and a lot more output. Theres so many possibilities with car audio its unbelievable. I myself am just getting into it and im just relaying the info that ive learned from other people on the forum. One thing i will tell you that ive been told many times by everyone here lol, nobody can tell how something will sound in your car, videos dont do anything, specs dont do much... You just need to look at peoples opinions.
  12. Yeah he is going to be making my box for two incriminator audio 12" Lethal Injections cant wait!!!
  13. i hate to rain on your parade... but you may want to switch vendors. Fi is wonderful, buttttt right now Audibel Customs is having a deal right now for a sub and free custom enclosure to go with it (dont even have to pay shipping on the box). Heres a link to his post... LINK I only say that because you say you are on a budget... Instead of putting money into the box, you can throw it into a better sub. Not to mention, he makes great boxes.
  14. okay, thats what i figured. I just wanted to double check Thanks a lot guys!!!
  15. Nope, i mean in each different application. While im using the p5002, and then while using the SAE 1200d
  16. any idea what wattage id be getting with both the amps per sub?
  17. Would there be a benefit of going with 2 2ohm dvcs instead of the 4ohm dvcs?
  18. Hey guys heres my situation as of right now i have a rockford fosgate p5002. Ill be using this for about 2 weeks until i get my SAE-1200d. Doing some research i have come up with this... please tell me if there is a better way. I will buy two of the 12" LI 4 ohm DVC's while i have the p5002 i will wire it like this... and once i buy the SAE-1200d i will wire it like this.... Please if there is something wrong with this setup please let me know.
  19. emailed Quentin (Audibel Customs) about it just now, thanks for the help guys. Ill let you know when i get it all installed hope i like it
  20. Right now ive finally decided to upgrade from my 12" w3v3, to two 12" Lethal Injections made by incriminator audio. Have you looked into these?
  21. i have a 12 inch w3v3 right now... Dont expect a lot of it. In order to get the sound that it seems like your looking for, your really gonna have to push it hard.
  22. So right now i have a jl 12" w3... how much more output would i get with the 2 12 LI's compared to the 1 15 DR
  23. btw im looking at best ratio between sq and output. Obviously im not looking for best sq and output, just a good balance in between
