Ok so i was wondering if anyone here can reccomend a 1ohm 1000w RMS mono amp to use with a 12" SSD? I chose BP power and copper coil for the options. Also i was wondering if there would be a difference between 1000w RMS @ 4 ohm and 1000w RMS @ 1 ohm. Right now its running 4ohm but the highs are not that loud. Lights dim more but its not as loud compared to lower notes.

If you can go for the 12" then you should. It has a larger cone so it can push more air. I just got a 12" SSD with the copper option and it sounds very nice, and i still need to build the box it goes in for good. 10" would be good in a pair IMO.

My sub got here so fast i wasnt even ready with the box. Later that day i got an email for the tracking saying it was stupposed to arrive 5 days from when i actually got it. Clicked on the tracking and yup, it said delivered. Ordered early Friday the 17th, arrived on the 23rd. Didnt even have time to install my temp subs lol

Yea like in my case, 80A alt. The big 3 won't do much. Hungry amp/sub. But if you have a good alt/batt i can see the benefit. Time to save up for a yellow top i guess hehe

Im gonna use that excuse if i get stopped for playing too loud. But officer, it's a bad idea to turn it down because my sub is then being underpowered and thats not good.
