  1. x2 on budget. but sundown is number one on my list
  2. cant expect him to sit on the computer all day. im sure he has a set time that he sits down and responds to them all each day, look for the email tomorrow afternoon i would guess.
  3. sound like an excellent way to sell your product, and have it done right. if i ever deaden anything, i will no doubt give him an e-mail. GL on your project/purchase pics. when you get it all/install it all or it never happened
  4. damn, looks like i need a new fan that would give half of the HP i have now...
  5. agreed, take the couple hundred for the new box and recone stuff and get an intake, exhaust, or a header. could add like 10 hp with the three dont now how those cars do with bolt ons. but even then, there wont be much, if any difference. better to keep everything as is, unless you want some engine noise

  7. sweet lookin' box. hows it sound?
  8. MAN THESE LIL GUYS SOUND LOUD AS HELL ANY NUMBERS WITH THE 4 SORRY FOR CAPS "sorry for caps" at the end of your post. why didn't you just make it lowercase before you posted? so you wouldnt be sorry about it lol
  9. haha nice captions to go along with a sexy enclosure
  10. lol look how low that thing is... any shocks/springs upgrades? "ghetto lowering kit"
  11. yeah to go off of that. turn it all the way UP then turn your volume knob to your max listening level. slowly turn your filter down until you reach the max you want your sub to move(maybe a bit less). that should do you good.
  12. or just fold the seats down? haha
  13. its crx, not crv... i dont know how the crv does though.
  14. may find it on google before he sends you another message, or use the search feature on here and see where he has talked about it. ive read a couple posts on it
  15. i dunno. there are programs out there that show you the different frequencies of a song, i dont remember the name. i think shizzon can let you know what each song does, or at least where and how to figure it out for yourself.
  16. turn a 10 hertz tone on your sub and it will play it, just not at a high level (hopefully) that is what the ssf is for, to prevent it form playing. every octave below your tuning there is a 12? db decrease in power, preventing any harm to the sub. so you should def. think of adjusting yours. and no, no purpose for anything below thirty on daily music. even if you get a 27 hertz tone there will be an audible nose, just not as much output as the 30 hertz tone. and even less the lower tone you go. same thing as your lpf, just on the different side of the sound spectrum of a sub people can hear below 20 hertz, its person dependent whats your box tuned to? hope this isn't confusing, im tired... going to bed.
  17. if those numbers are true. its crazy to think that one sub can do that to a person
  18. nope. if your sub is advertised to play that frequency it would be crazy. thats getting a truckload into midbass. and you really dont need anything below 30 hertz anyways, most music doesnt go that low, so no point in trying to make your sub do it. cant go too far below your box frequency or else your sub will bottom out and break stuff or do bad things. thats never good.
  19. divide the max range of frequencies by the number of clicks and you get the change per click and get close to 27. Note* if its either like 29 or 25(between clicks), no in between i would go with the 29.
  20. Complete and total failure on your first post. Please do some research and look at the amazing builds he has done and what he has been able to do with them. I'd like to have HEMI sit in this thing for a track or two...... and then give me a demo of something comparible that he built nuff said would be funny to watch their expression. punishment for his dumbass remark. "sit in here for 5 min."
  21. use a 50 hertz tone. and you can tune a little lower than 33, i say like 27 or 28.
  22. glad to have you. interested in your build log, make sure to post one up lots of good info here.
  23. quick search i found this site. but you can just go to radio shack and get a 20$ one real quick that will work for this. they come in handy, if you dont have one Digital Multimeters, DMM, Multimeter
  24. "said items" like the DMM? digital multimeter? here is a link to a write up on SSa How To: Set your Amplifier Gain - SSA Car Audio Forum
  25. if you're scared about anything just be nice to it till you think its "broke in"
