while waiting for your subs from FI understand what they are doing. you ordered a CUSTOM sub built to YOUR specs. can you order custom cut wheels for your car and have them in a week? they are a big company that has thousands of these custom subs a week. busy people

what are you trying to gain? you wont notice an audible difference between the two amps, even if it is another 500 watts. your ears shouldnt be able to tell much, if any, difference.

+1 for being nice to your electrical lol just because a sub has a RMS rating, doesnt mean it needs all that to make sound. you will be happy with that combo

the 1500 accepts 1/0. you could either use 4 from the block to the amp, or 1/0 and just trim some of the strands out of it
