2010 VW GTI
Subwoofer time! I bought this last christmas (shows how late I am to posting this build...) and I'm so happy with this sub. When I get it in a proper enclosure and give it some power it's going to really shine!

Next up is the Deck. JVC KD-A95bt. Pretty darn happy with it. Here is a little review I wrote up over on caraudio-forum.com. I don't think it's a fair judgement, yet. This is with the stock speakers and no amp... I used the USB to listen to music through my iphone today on my way to work and back. As far as from the stock deck to this, it's a MAJOR upgrade, but I still have along ways to go to be happy obviously. As for navigation through the menus and such it's a breeze. Able to use the deck to switch songs on pandora and such is a plus for me. The 4 buttons around the volume knob are almost "flimsy". The way they are sitting makes them look like they're floating, but it makes me question how much daily abuse they can take. Changing songs through the deck while hooked up to the USB is quick to play the music, but the screen is slow to get the new song displayed. I haven't tested this with bluetooth or CDs yet, so we will see if that is just with USB or not. Aesthetically I absolutely love the looks. There are a ton of color options (21 for each section, with another 3 different options that cycle through the colors), though there is no ultra white option There is a very faint pink, yellow, blue, and green. this isn't a big deal, as they really are very light tints, though I would have liked to see a "solid" white. The face is very clean with only necessary buttons. Nothing too flashy just for show-very happy with that. I really appreciate the large volume knob, and the solid "clicks" as you turn in- that is a must for me. I haven't messed with any tuning at all so I'll have to comment on the filters, TA, and EQ at a later date. I hope this doesn't sound like a huge rant on the deck, I'm just voicing what I've played with so far. With minimal play time I'm happy with it. It's very easy to learn your way around the buttons and menu system. I believe there is an app to download to better incorporate my phone, i'll have to look into that and keep you guys updated.- 2010 VW GTI
First thing I did was swap out all the interior lights and license plate lights with LEDs from deAutoKey.com Everything is hyper white, but the foot wells are red. Before: After:- 2010 VW GTI

Congrats to your Dad and family! Your door pods are coming along very nice! Side note: don't use black text, as it's harder to read on dark background.- Passive crossovers for ascendant audio carbon 6.5 and tweeter
I'll take those carbons off your hands if you don't want to deal with the crossover issue A really quick search on google and both decks say they have high and low pass filters, so they should be able to work active. Though I'm not familiar with those decks at all.- Trying Ethos 15's in a sealed enclosure
For such a "simple" box, that looks great!- Refund duration?
When you spoke with them today did you ask for a refund? It's best to ask who you want the refund from to get the best answer.- New SSA T-Shirt! Free!! Details inside

Build looks good! If something doesn't work adapt and figure out how to make it work. I had those components a couple years ago, sold them to a friend and he is still using them today. Went through a couple pairs of tweeters though haha- Upgrade time. Electrical questions.
Also, you can never have too much electrical and it's always safer to have more than needed than bare minimum.- Upgrade time. Electrical questions.
I would suggest doing the Big3 first and seeing where your voltage is. If you need more juice then add a battery or your HO alt and go from there.- Upgrade time. Electrical questions.

Why are you adding the 1.375" to the port length? And no, your addition is wrong. 19.214+14.7823+1.375=35.4613 not 35.312
