  1. the 10s have more cone area, and can take more power (RMS), disperse the power more efficiently. But who knows, depends on the install. Each set up will get loud. I would have a hard time choosing between the two. My past 5 subs have been Fi, never heard a Sundown sub. So I'm kinda biased.
  2. A 15" N2 over a 12" BL should be a bit louder
  3. Just a "maybe" on 2012? What if we don't make it 'till then? I think this project needs to become high priority, just in case I'm not able to hear it before the world ends.
  4. I see your frunk is turned on! HQ pics. look very nice,, a couple for you!
  5. I must have missed what HU you're using? Ill go look it up, sounds ultra-fancy Wiring looks clean, you must have taken tips from E-dub!
  6. Take the sub out and see if everything is still connected? Could be tinsel slap.
  7. Can do 150s with an 8. Just takes a lot of time, tuning, and boxs.
  8. Free shipping at least. Did you guys notice that there have been 9 sold, some @ 214.95? I believe it's just a typo.
  9. The noise is at very low volumes, and of course it sound louder when I turn it up. If I bottoming out the sub time ago, what happen with the sub? Ahh, i read wrong. My bad. Go by what everyone else has said
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dniVqDTwOds
  11. Glad all of your road bumps are quick and easy fixes! Keep up on the progress, excited to see a video!
  12. You're probably bottoming the sub out. Turn your gain down, SSF up, or HPF down, depending on where you're getting the most noise.
  13. Looks like the car did it's job in protecting him at least. Glad that he is safe and able to walk/drive away from it.
  14. The name "Fi" rhymes with high. Looks like it's putting in work, don't know what you're talking about.
  15. you said you were tuned to 23 hz, now you're saying you're tuned "so high"? what is it?
  16. That's the way i see it, it's called headroom.
  17. That's kinda what I had figured.. One thing I have always wondered, Wouldn't the 15" BL be a better match for the sae-1200d? Sure? Doesn't really matter. You could put your SSD on a 3500 if you want. Just have to tune accordingly. I had my 1500 on my 15" bl and i always thought it was too much for it.
  18. That's why he wears crocks, it makes it easy to slip his feet out when he counts past 10. :roflmao:
  19. Alright, that works. Wasn't sure if it was one of the new ones just recently released. yours is rated for 800 watts, not 1k. That amp is fine, just turn the gain down a little, like i said.
  20. you can't hear clipping. If you're smelling the sub, turn the gain down. If you hear anything it's most likely from over excursion, so then you would turn the gain down, or the SSF up. Again, what model is this SSD?
  21. Poor engine bay in that eclipse! Other than that, looks like it was a nice show.
  22. I don't even know what to say to that...
  23. With only 90 amp alt, there isn't much that your car can power. That would be the best investment - a new HO alt. Is there any way to resolve the problem using the same battery. Does anyone expirience with this battery If you haven't already, do the Big 3. Won't cure everything but may help a couple 10ths of a volt. Should get the biggest battery you can fit under your hood.
  24. How's the alt holding up? I'm more and more tempted to get this model since the HP is out right now.. Need something.
