nice sounding 6.5's for under $200

how much sense did it make to have high end speakers in both front and rear doors in a truck? I said the Memphis and kicker components was ok sounding cause you can compare them to some pioneers, and that is not the sound I want

		Enclosure design for truck

And that is you building a box. I'd shrink it a bit to be safe which to me means 2 sealed 10's.If you want ported and 2 of them you are going to need to be creative or lift your seat. A single 12 ported will work though. with that being said shoud i look for subs that excel in sealed enclosures?

nice sounding 6.5's for under $200

it's hard to go out auditioning when all the audio shops have nothing but kicker, Memphis, alpine, and jl. I heard the alpine type r and focal and liked both the alpines were loud but lacked mid bass a little and focals had mid bass and was loud and clear. the guy didn't tell me what model they was though. if I can find a set that comparable to the focals I would go that route. everyone like recommend hertz, ID, jbl, focal, sundown and RE xxx. so I'm pretty sure I will be going with one of those brands.

		Enclosure design for truck

I need a box design for under the rear seat of my truck but the thing is I don't know if I want to go with four ported 8's with about 600 watts a piece or two 10's ported with about 1000 watts a piece...which setup will be louder? And who is a good enclosure designer?

		help me choose a sub

i looked on sundowns website and the sa12s need 1.7 will i have enough room after displacement for the two? i want to have the loudest system possible thats within my budget of $600-$650 for the subs. I wouldnt mind spending about $650 for an amp. Im really leaning towards the saz-1500 v3

		shallow mount subs

I'm still doing my homework with the front stage trying to decide on what brand I want to go with. but I also want some subs for under the seat. I want to install everything at once... do you think I'm pushing it with trying to go with 12's? or should I stick with 10's and 8's?
