So while everyone is waiting how about sharing your setup with the 8s? What amp is everyone going to run? I ordered 2 SA-8s dual 4 ohm and im thinking about an AQ1200D or Sundown 1000-1500 amp. What size box is everyone going to run? Im thinking 1.7 cubes with 2 4" aero ports.

Will 2000rms be enough for a fully loaded BTL 12" though? $425 is alittle tight.. Idk yet ill have to see if I get my bonus You don't "need" a certain amount of power to use it, you will be happy with the output. Ok thanks. Any other amps I could look into if I cant afford the Sundown? Kicker, and Rockford amps are really good. The Crunch GP-3000D Pro is okay. I loved my old Kicker 400.1. Just wish they were stable to 1ohm.

Only reason I picked the PA amp was the price and my buddy at work has the BAMF 4000 pushing 2 PA 15s pretty good. Thanks You could get a refurb Sundown SAZ-1500D for $339, or a new SAZ-2000D for $425. Both are phenomenal amps, they put out about 300 watts more than rated. The 2000D is a much better deal, and new. Just saw your post. Ill have to look into that. Never dreamed I could own a Sundown amp.. Will the 2000 be enough power?

I have a 94 Ford Lightning and currently have a Alpine CDA-9883, Kicker KS components,4 gauge wiring, 12" L7 and Hifonics 1508D amp. Im wanting to get as much bass possible out of a single cab truck without cutting my truck up. So im looking into the BTL 12".Should I go fully loaded? I will be playing this sub everyday. At 1st I will have it running off my Hifonics amp putting out 1500rms at 1ohm. Do I need the dual 1 or 2 ohm to run it at 1ohm load? Then when I get some more money ill get a better amp. How much power can a fully loaded BTL 12" take daily? Im thinking about the Power Acoustik BAMF 5500 amp putting out 3200rms at 1 ohm. The biggest box I can fit in my truck will be 2.0-2.5 cubes. What size port? Im wanting to do a round aero port(seems easier). Slowly im upgrading to a Optima yellow top,200 amp alternator, overdrive alt pulley, 0 gauge wiring,and big 3 upgrade. So im thinking the Fi BTL 12" Dual 2 ohm ? Cooling HiXmCoil Daily I Heat Ring Universal and Red dust cap to match my truck Thanks.
