  1. You wont be upset, what led you over to the Dark Side (Sundown Audio)? great price and amazing reviews!
  2. no worries guys... we all can get a little carried away sometimes i will be ordering a sundown sax125.2 and an saz1500 very soon!
  3. I'm sure we can help you out , just drop us an email at [email protected] and we'll get you all hooked up. Sweet! I'll be emailing you guys tomorrow!
  4. If i purchase an sax 125.2 and an saz 1500d or a 2000d at the same time, is there a multi amp discount? also wondering if there are any sales about to go on anytime soon?
  5. can you guys take it to PMs... im only looking for opinions between sundown sax series and arc ks series
  6. i was pretty set on sundown, but now i can pick up a Arc ks 300.4 (90x4) and a ks 1000.1 (1000x1) used for around $580. what would you guys do? how underrated are those amps?
  7. custom coloring would be a nice feature
  8. i would love it if DC and Sundown did something!
  9. ummmm NO, OP please don't even look at this amp, it is OK, but wal-mart compared to arc and sundown, steg... now it seems you need to think about the future....the arc or the 100.4d would be plenty for those speakers even unbridged. and either could run them actively which actually can be safer for your tweeter since passives are generally only 12db/slope, and both those amps have 24 db/slope which will help keep tweeters from playing too low. most ppl blow tweets on passive setups, not the woofer. if you don't plan on running any more mids/highs in future then go with the 125.2 no questions asked. if you plan on running others in the future then get the arc or the sundown, both are amazing amplifiers, arc is and has been quite proven in SQ competition. and any arc or sundown amp will push more than rated power even after normal voltage drop. as soon as i saw "sonicelctronix" i knew it was a no. i think its between the sax 125.2 or 100.4... only reason im considering a 100.4 is to possibly grow down the road. and im also most likely going with a 1500d or 2000d for a sub amp too match.
  10. would i be able to hear the $210 difference though? and i also dont have have a windows laptop to use that feature. i missed out on a sax125.2 for $120 by 8min too!
  11. thanks for your response! just thought id add that i can get an arc ks300.4 for $325 shipped thats only a few months old. and its only 90wrms per channel but 350x2 @ 4ohms bridged. are the sundown sax line under rated like their sae/saz line? They are, and think a 100.4 would make you very happy. Nice truck too would a 100.4 be beneficial seeing as the comps are 125rms rating and im only running 1 set of comps passively? and thanks, but the truck is a photoshop... it just lowered on stock 16s. You could run them actively. And if not, if you get more speakers later, like rear speakers or something, you could use the other channels. i dont even want to mess with going active. lol this will be my first install so i just want to get the basics down.

  14. So I picked up a pair of Hertz Hsk165's and need some help with choosing an amp. Amp will be ran off of a kenwood 8120. I have about 400 to spend... but I wouldn't mind spending less. Im thinking about the following: sundown sax-125.2 $240 (even a 50.4 bridged thoughts???) audio systems twister 300 $300 jl 300/2 $350 steg K2|02 $450 arc ks300.2 $399 what are your thoughts on the ones posted? any recommendations?

do atleast a 4/7 drop. IMO these trucks sit so high to begin with. heres 4/7 on 22s...
  19. enough for sealed, but not ported. will two 10s be decently louder than one 12? or just slightly louder?
  20. good to know. and thanks, but my sig is just a photoshop of my truck. i know right! space... id love to do 2 12s or even a single 15. i could do 2 12s or a 15 sealed, but thats no fun. correct! this kinda what im thinking... ill probably have to up grade my electrical though.:/ especially if i go with 2 XLs.
  21. Up until recently Ive been thinking about going with a single 12" BL, SX, LVL4 XL, or BTL. But now after talking to Rusty, Im thinking anout going with 2 10s instead. Im still currently in the planning stage and i wanted some imput on what to do. Ill have roughly 2.5ft?^3 to work with under my back seat after I lift it 2 inches. I mainly listen to rap, and my goals are to get loud and low. ill currently do not have an amp, but ill be matching the amp to the sub/s.
  22. you need to post these updates on gmfs. whats your elecrical setup? stock? if so hows it holding up? i might be needing an saz-3000 soon. where did you get your amp from? and new or used?
