there is a mistake! sorry i call them as i see them. first things first double check what they did and if you don't trust yourself get a friend to do it who is car audio savi! car audio is a learning experience! if you don't trust yourself never trust a shop b/c they want to sell you stuff or do it there way and if they do something wrong you will never know b/c you didn't check it out yourself to make sure. and i don't mean to bash your shop or any other shop that is jsut my experience with shops and what i have read about them. and part of the reason why i did all my own installs and what not and i even had a buddy who was audio savi go over some of it to make sure everything was cool lol!!

well first put it in dc voltage mode and touch it on the positve and neg (power and ground) to see how much of a voltage drop there is, then if you wnat you can set the gian via a dmm by disconnecting the sub and putting the leads of the dmm into the speaker channels and putting the dmm into A/C voltage mode. turn up the gain untill the number reads 31.6 (whihc is 1000rms at 1ohm if that is what you wnat to feed that sub) and i recommend using a 50-60hz tone to set your gain!! and make sure the volume on the h/u is about 3/4 the way up! and enjoy!

i think i found my answer! can someone please confirm this site? http://cr4.globalspec.com/thread/32655/How-to-calculate-the-required-AH-for-ups also i jsut worked it out and here is what i got! 200amp(current)X 0.25(about 15mins of play time) = 50 50/0.9= 55.55 55.55/0.5=110 so i will need 110ah per amp? i think that is wrong though but i need someone to confirm my finding or someone who knwos what is going on thanks for your time Kenneth

well first pull out the harness and make sure make double sure the yellow (ignision wire what ever colour it is for you) isn't barely in there make sure to give it a good tuff. i knwo for me i had to reput my wire back in and resolder it in there so it wouldn't fall out. and if that goes no where do the big 3(since it is required anyways) then if you still have issues look into a new battery or getting your alt looked at. also mabye get a dmm (from a friend) and less see how bad the voltage drop is. just touch the dmm leads tot he pos and neg of the amp on dc voltage mode and report back. as for a new battery just go with watever you can fit, and how much you can afford. if you can afford a lot get a nice battery if not jsut put a new stock one in.!! it is what i did but i also have a bank in my car so ya.

So my next install will consist of 2-saz2000 and 2-15inch NS d2 and i was wondering how much AH i should have on my batteries to support my 2 saz2000 straped at 2ohm? i know i read somewhere that if it is at 1ohm just take the fuse size and divide it by 2 and there you go! so for 1 saz2000 at 1ohm i would need a mini of 100ah battery to support it! now i am wondering, i got a good deal on some nsb 90 (90ah) and i can't pass up the deal but they are only 90ah each and i want to get 2 of them. now will this 90ah (180ah total) be enough to support 4krms at 2ohm? thanks for your time Kenneth

voltage issue can be fixed with some time and love and money lol! new h/o alt battery bank big 3 lol the works!

nice vehicle lol! when you getting 2-15 or 2-18's lol! jk!! mabye you have an alt problem b/c at idel it should be good enough for 1krms at 1ohm right?

o wow! so what do you drive? and do you know off hand what size alt and how old your front battery is in your car?

have you pulled it out and checked the wiring harness to make sure all the wires are firmly in there? so does the face pop off i assume? maybe the issue is when the bass hits the face plate come off then somehow retracts? also you have this issue when the bass is pumping correct? also you siad your voltage drops pretty good? could you please give us a reading with a dmm? b/c to low of voltage is really bad for an amp. and if there is such a low voltage drop were it kills the power to the head unit...ya i don't know lol that jsut sounds like death lol! or faulty wireing some how

couldn't he also just, strap 2 amps together and strape the other 2 amps together and use L side of hte sub preout rca to power 2 of the 4 saz2000's then use the R one to power the other 2? and then get a single rca to go from brain out to brain in on each set of amps? i know if you have 1 out of hte 2 rca plugged in you will have to turn your GAIN up more but it will eliminate the need for Y cables and what not and no need to play around with a MAXX link or anything like that

put a pair of COMPONENT speaker in your doors! or even those HORNE tweeters!!! and give them about 100rms and you will be like woow i can hear the music and the bass!!! and if you need a pair of comps i will be selling mine soon lol!!!

umm if you turn your key one position forward or backwards it SHOULD turn on your stero allowing you to listen with the car off. if yuo are going to be pounding the BASS i recommend turning on the car though. or maybe you can wire in a switch to turn off the sub and amp so you can listen to the audio without damaging anything due to low voltage drops.

It will be a daily driver. SQ is never a bad thing though but I do really enjoy loud. glad to hear that! also what is your buget?

o the e-brake is the same on ALL h/u which play movies Just ground them out! and makes sure you ground the h/u and the parking brake to the car's chassie to elimate a bunch of issues! just like anyother h/u!! enjoy and let us knwo hwo the instal goes of either h/u and be sure to do a build/install log of everything when you are done!

get the jvc! i have a jvc and i love it! ( i have the avx77) the jvc h/u i have works flawlessly!! plus that one jvc you have listed SHOULD work the same way! check out this video on my h/u the 2 units seem to be similar in the ipod of things! http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_105KDAVX77/JVC-KD-AVX77.html?search=jvc+avx+77&ssi=0 i went jvc and i am never looked back! for the jvc it gives you a USB in so all you need is an ipod to usb cable and you are good to rock! also don't forget to check out the video in my link it gives you an explanition of how it works! enjoy! and jvc all the way man!

well for starters no high end RCA's on SOME sundown amps. some ppl claim that the high end rca have no negative effect on the amp some ppl have had issues with older versions of the saz line and highend rca's. so better just play it safe and use cheaper ones! now your next question is an interesting one you wnat to run 4saz2000 so i have to ask you will 4saz be pushing 4 subs? or 2 subs? or 1sub?
