yep! if you plan on using the stetsom get a duel 1 ohm sub and if you get the saz or AQ get a duel 2 ohm sub!! also if i can ask are you planning on buying the stetsom bnib? (brand new in box?)

to better understand impedance rise give this a quick read over

well you can't bank on impedance rise and fall. banking on that is a two way street. it will go up and it will go down. and if it is even 1.5ohm perciol that is a 0.75 ohm load. and 1.8 and 1.8 in parellel is like .9 ohm load

you are mistaken! when we talk about series it is just like adding! so 2 plus 2 = 4!! when you put a sub in parellel the ohm load will drop by half. so 2ohm plus 2 more ohms in parellel = 1ohm! now if you get your sub in a duel 1ohm you can wire it to a 0.5ohm load or a 2ohm load! but if you get 2 subs that are duel 2ohm you cna wire the sub to 2 ohms! by one sub at 1ohm and the other sub at 1ohm also then put the 2 subs in series to get a 2ohm load! http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp and http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=1&I=12 Ok thanks & I will be getting a dual 2ohm sub if I go with stetsom because the lowest independence is 2ohms but one thing I dont like about stetsom is that they dont have a subsonic filter. =( ? with a duel 2ohm sub the only ohm load you can get is 1ohm or 4ohm. so you want to run the stetsom under its rated power.. lol okay i also heard a rumour about those stetsom amps that they are for spl and burping and aren't the best at daily? i don't know and i can't vouche for that rumour but i thought i would let you know and hopefully someone can chime in and explain or deface that rumour. so if you go with the stetsom you are going to get a d1 18inch sub? and i would go with the stetsom myself. but if you need to save money go with the AQ. and actually jacob did some testing with an aq vs a saz3500 check it out

the only thing that has me a little worried about this box is will it eat up my entire trunk and if so i am going to have to find a new place to put my amps and batteries

well guys i have ruled out the wall idea and i want to go with something like this. but i DON'T know how to do the port. slotted or aero. also can someone help me out with the port pretty please!! and each sub is about 0.1 displacement and the sub OD is 15.75

well for 2 -12inch NS they wnat like 1.5 cubic each! so if box sizes needs to be small!!
