  1. do you mean why does it cost 560$ in comparison to say a audioAQ or audiopipe or those other cheaper brands? well quality I would say and customer service plus well you get what you pay for and you will see on the long haul which brands will last the longest and will take the most abuse. kind a like amp A can take way more abuse and work in extreme conditions (like 0.5ohm loads) while if you put a half ohm load on amp B it will self destruct!
  2. LMAO wow where did you find that guy on youtube lmoa! I wonder what amps he has powering it all and is this all a joke or is he for real lol
  3. umm i have had this type of issue before! to solve this issue i just put the dmm down and tuned it by ear! I would recommend doing it by ear as now a days music is hacked up and loudest being added and such that if you use a tone that is at 0db and then you listen to music which has been ripped to like +3db you could start to clip those speakers! so over the past couple of years i have been turning this gain up and a down a bit to suit my needs with the type of music i am listening to.
  4. bridged means you are Bridging the two channels to yield one channel! kind a like making the multi channel amp a mono channel amp! this is done to get more power out of an amp at a higher impedance! give this a quick read it was the first thing to come up with i searched bridging an amp. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/what-bridging-amp-2359/
  5. any updates? on the 6.5's? pre-order or pricing?
  6. i would go with Ram Designs on SSA audio! he is my number one pick! and he is fast! http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/user/17102-ram-designs/
  7. Congrats Mark and good luck! post some pics if you get a chances!
  8. to date I have owned these sundown amplifier: 1-SAX125.2 1-SAX100.4 1-SAZ1000 1-SAE1200 v1 2-SAE1000 2-SAZ2000 2-SAZ2500 all these amps were purchased from Jacob (sundownz) and I have never had an issue with them so thus I have never needed customer service other then to get them shipped to Canada! If you buy sundown you will not be disappointed!
  9. HOLY cow That cap is dead! I didn't see that picture that clearly on my cell but i am on a PC now! wow that thing is fried!
  10. Wait did you even try to plug it in and use it yet ? You said it was out of service for a year my question is if it worked before for you and then you put it in storage what happened to it how would a part go bad from just sitting in a closet
  11. Julian hit the nail on the head there maybe more wrong then you think and how much is shipping going to cost you? (I am on my cell and can't see where you are located ) I don't recall shipping bring more thrn 30$ from Canada to db-r
  12. Happy Birthday
  13. Welcome and I love your video's they are awesome! nice work on all your builds!
  14. I AM INTERESTED!! heck these would be a lot better and easier to work with rather then an 8inch! actually how about those tweeters you were working on.... (or are they already out?) and yes sign me up as long as they aren't like 200$ per driver! lol
  15. I use P3 RCA connectors. I bought about 30 of them over the year. Quality control is great and the connector looks great. I would expect a good product with any P3 connector. Cost wise - midline. surely you aren't talking about these? http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=263-212
  16. sounds crazy,,, I love it! lol! wait Xb,? scion? I think another member on here has one of those... Shizzzon I think has one!
  17. either D1 or D4! (some times company are sold out of d1)
  18. please read post 119 on page 8 for your answer!
  19. KNU sells similar ones that I have used in the past! http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=SSRT0 the only down side to them is the hole in the center is about 5/16 (0.31252") and i believe they are about 0.25 thick, so you will need a longer screw! so if you are using one of those big D3100 batteries that have a 3/8 hole you will have to some how drill that bigger! if you are against crimping on terminals then these are the answer!
  20. Take your time man! we are in no rush!! and you are doing an excellent job thus far!
  21. wow ANOTHER ONE that is AWESOME and just in time for cyber monday! O I wonder what it could be? XS batteries? lol jk!
  22. The amount of PM's after the deal was over, asking for their own personal outrageous deal was, well surprising to say it nicely. LOL I see what you did there! you are playing the opposite game LOL!!
  23. easy easy! I am not bitching I was just wondering, and hey funny story I just noticed that once the serve got not so bogged down I still have a set of IA mids in my checkout! and i am at the part where you press proceed to payment.. should I click it or is this just a glitch?
  24. o I blame my e-mail people they are BS anyways, but no I did DID get this a day ago also and I DID NOT miss out on this one. Heck I even found the deal but when I went to check out I kept getting that error message and I kept pressing refresh and by the time I was able to actual get to the checkout thing they were out of stock, so I kind a did miss out but no skin off my nose! I was just wondering if anyone else got the e-mail AFTER the event!
