I was doing 149.5s with one NightShade 15" powered by the proto saz-2000d before I did any deadening. My truck is about 1db louder now. on 12volts? or 14.4volts? and if so that is awesome! and do you have the proto still?

to get 154.1db how many cubics was your box and what did you turn it to? b/c if you got 154.1db on 2 saz3500 on 12volts i am really pumped to see what my 15inch on a saz2000 can do! maybe 147db lol!

So in the picture below, it shows two amps strapped. There are two sets of speaker wires, I only have one coming out of my box. Could I only use one set, or do I need to re-wire to get two sets? so in the pic you are refering to there are 2 strapped amps and all 4 speaker terminals are in use correct? and you wnat to know if it is okay to use 2 of the 4 correct? is so then yes you cna do this! it is how i have my strapped sae1000d hooked up! (using only the outside ones or the inside ones!)

What would be considered an Average Consumer? well my 2cents of the average consumer would be a middle aged guy with no job living off of wel-fare while us working class ppl support him plus his family! lol! jk! but in my eye average would be a 500-2000rms set up with one or two 12inch subs or one 15inch sub! you know 130-145 db's lol! but that is my 2cents which is a Canadian two cents isn't even worth an American two cents! (due to our exchange rates lol)

it looks like a lathe with a pice of 6inch cold rolled (or hot rolled) steel being turned down! and it looks like a nice carbide cutter and parting tools were used!

have you tried to contact jacob directly? or have you tried to call him on the phone? i am sure if the problem is something he can solve then he can do it! also if you got the amp from DB-r why are you posting in the sundown area? it isn't like you purchased it from sundown direct but you got it from DB-r ?

if it helps i have to sae1000d amps strapped when i was running my 2 SI v4 mag subs, it pounded the subs hard and i like how they sounded plus it was simply to set up! remember though 2 SAZ1000 strapped puts out 1800rms at 2ohm but really each amp is seeing 1ohm each! so if i was a gambling man i would say hook up each amp individually to gain more power! but that is jsut my 2cents!
