I will get some pics after i get this box carpeted! but i will tell you this! it is a really tight fit, just the way i like it! tight like a tiger lol!! and yes i actualy didn't measure my trunk opening b/c well i got caught up in the moment on making a box lol!! lucky i was able to pull out my back seat and make the mod all within about 2hours!! other then that it is all good and you will not even not a think! lol! And the best part is i found out why i was hearing a constant wine-ing noise when my car was on! it was my fricken fuel pump lol! so i guess i need this sub so drowned out that noise lol! i dont' even know how i can hear it but i can! plus on say monday i will be installing my 6.5 component (zapco) speakers in the rear...somehow lol!

o wow those kicker panels look like they are coming along nicely!! very nice work! the only issue i see you having is with your speaker wire! lol! maybe i was doing it wrong but i had a whore of time working with that wire!! and if you need some more let me know i got a bunch left over! lol!!

well today was a good day lol! i took out my back seat and made modifications! take a look everyone! now the box slides in with LITTLE problems at all!! lol! and the best part is i found where my leak(s) were coming from! you can easily see them b/c i tar'd them up and caulk them up as well!

so i also just painted my port blue, so it would match my cars colour and the blue power light when the sundown amps turn on! lol!!

well keep in mind the nightshade 12inch needs a 1.5cubic box at 33-35hz! lol! and i don't know what the Z15 need! but the nightshade 15 needs a 3cubic box at 33-35hz! and the nightshade 15 ppl say will rock your world lol! but 2 12inch nightshades i think would be louder lol!! look into it more!

hey really fast question! if i am going to be putting 2krms to one 15inch sub should i be using 8gauge ore 10gauge wire? i would assume 10 but i don't know for sure!

They are all the same motor... Well i guess i should have wrote save a motor for me lol!! p/s just paided for one! and i can't wait lol! quick question do these motors have a cooling plug? (a hole in the rear of the sub, sorry if this isn't called a cooling plug)

well as promised here are some pics! first will be of the box! and some pics of my problem! as you can see there is some steel which needs to be removed! lol!! and i also need to relocate my secondary battery! i want to move it to this big empty spot! in my trunk, so my sub can fit right up against the seat!

WOW i jsut ran into a major issue~!! I built this box and guess what?? it will not fit in via my trunk! The only way i will fit this in is to slide it in behind my rear seats and cut away about 3inch of metal! wow! what a big job i have ahead of me!! and the sad part is. if it was about 2-3inch smaller on the hight it would slide right in! but i need that extra 2-3inch to make my box complete lol! o boy!!! bring on monday!

wiat drive displacement...! crap! does anyone know the displacement? i have also checked the "box width" to 35 which gave me a box volume of 3.2cubic! this should be good enough i think! but let me know!

so total mounting depth of your 12inch sub is 11.5"? and your xmax is 25mm? or 20mm? the xmax i though was important to know for tuning the sub.

also does anyone know the xmax of this sub?

can someone tell me what is the mounting depth of this sub? also a cut out? as for the mounting depth i know i need to leave about 2-3inch behind the magnet so the total mounting depth i need is....?

Hey guys i am looking to make a sub box for my 15inch nightshade! i don't know really know sub box's esspecially for a subs that will blow ear drums lol!! so i have attached my design let me know what you think and what i should modifie as i want to cut some wood tomrrow and start putting the box together! thanks for your input!
