  1. have you contacted Jacob directly in regards to this? I am pretty sure he has a spec sheet of all the lines with motor and basket specs
  2. wow! that is intense! congrats on Second. What db score did first place get? also what are you future plans other then a steel cage?
  3. I am pretty sure bi-amping is for running active aka 1 channel controlling 1 speaker at a time if bi-amping is off you will be running 1 set of speakers off of one channel on the amp! so essentially you can use a 2-channel amp (cheaper) to power a single set of components or you can buy a 4 channel and run 2-sets of components off of a single 4 channel amp! does that make sense? currently I have 2-sets of components running off of a single 4 channel amp! and those 8 speakers, Zapco RB 5.25 are being run with this amp! (sax 100.4) i guess you can call my speaker configuration setup passive!
  4. and don't forget to double check the fuses and the sub! I hope you own a DMM (digital multi-meter)
  5. WOW damn nice build! off hand how many hours do you think went into this build?
  6. What smd dyno this is the first I have heard.about that can someone enlighten me on the pros or cons heck maybe post a link
  7. got ya! I guess I will have to first ask them what kind a tests they are able to do first and go from there! heck maybe i will learn something... or just get hung up on lol other then that i will let you know what goes down!
  8. Cool I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they can do and a cost! also what test should i request be done to an amplifier? or would they know what to do?
  9. If you are using a real test house it'll be somewhere between $1k and $2k an amp. just out of curiously what is would be the name of a real test house?
  10. that is it time to get some amps bench tested properly! we all should pool some money and get some amps tested properly! actually I would love to see how much it would cost to properly bench test an amp and I would be game to toss in some money to cover the testing fee's although this might be unrealistic if the cost is way to high vs the amount of people who want to know the truth! as for amps I would gladly send one of my SAZ-2500 in for a proper test! and I am sure I can also get a atomic 7k and a AQ3500 along with a NS1 (the 4500 replacements) and I think some people wouldn't mind sending in a Cresendo 3500 and I think we could talk someone into sending in one of his DC amps lol!
  11. I don't think that... but for me it worked out that i saved on shipping and final cost if i purchased it all as sundown! rather then mixing and matching and paying though the ass on shipping at least when you buy from the same vendor you save on shipping costs and some times you get lucky enough to get a little discount!
  12. Any update on the state of your amp?
  13. 3k and 125amps!

wow that look awesome! how much are those subs moving? in the movie it looks like they can move a bit more!!
  15. you say it is a duel 2 ohm sub.. but in those pics i don't see a second set of terminals.. can you confirm this? also in the first pic I see 2 sets of wires going into the terminals and in the other pic I only see one set of wires going into the terminals?
  16. WOOT WOOT score two points for the good guys!
  17. Cs at its best yet again keep us posted on the issue
  18. so what ended up being wrong with it? and was it an expensive fix? power amp failure. about $320 likely was ran at too low of an ohm load or low voltage before me owning it. wow some people need to buy DC volt meters and keep that VDC in check! glad to hear the repair wasn't over 500$ though! although 320$ is still getting up there. hey on the bright side at least it was repairable and you don't have to search for a replacement and blow even more coin on something that might also be sketchy eh!
  19. also looking at your pic what is up with your remote wire? it looks like you have 1 coming from the h/u while the other one is going to something else?
  20. yoou should be using a 50-60hz tone at 0db if that helps also tuning the gains via DMM is a great way to start but you will soon realize that you will be modulating the gains as time goes on as in part to the songs you like to listen to and how those songs are recorded!
  21. dont forget the muffler bearing and the blinker fluid. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=6 http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=10 maybe some of these to keep up with his zcons http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=43 LMAO Blinker fluid and just my luck they are all sold OUT lol
  22. so what ended up being wrong with it? and was it an expensive fix?
