Hey guys does anyone know off hand how much the sa8 cost? Ifound a guy selling them for 95$ but they are reconed sa8 which isn't a big deal to me but I was wondering howmuch a bnib sa8 from sundown would cost Thank Kenneth
  3. and i know they don't get 2 hot b/c with my new box i can just fit my hand under it to feel,, and my sax100.4 gets even hotter and has yet to shut off! some times the 100.4 is so hot i can't even touch it.
  4. x2 on what shizzzon said, i got 2-saz2500 UNDER my sub box with 4-80mm Pc fan pushing the air out and my amps get hot to touch buut not hot as hell though,.. maybe you need some more air flow..although you have your vents in the cabin to help you with the air flow/cooling
  5. cool info i learned something tonight! thanks all! and o/p gl with your bro's setup! is he getting all bnib JL stuff or used?
  6. wtf did he buy that for... wow i am confused but i am subscribed b/c i also want to know what some of those feature are! lol i never thought a class D could have so many options to choose from lol! good luck though
  7. any idea on sound deadener in the future?
  8. for 2k you will need what 160amps plus whatever it takes to run your car (160x12volts=1920watt) of current supply from your alt so what is your stock alt outputing? 120amps? will your car handle 2k rms i would say yes depending on your alts stock specs. then again how well your car handles the demand is a different story. I would say give it a shot and KEEP a close eye on the voltage going into your amp!! now i am pretty sure others will say you need more to support your setup but you say you aren't in it for competition so you are more of a daily kind a guy so i assume you will not pound your system for a good 10-20mins plus at any rate that is purely how i see it! and other will have a different idea! I hope this helps some and please post pics/ a build log!
  9. what is the mounting depth of those subs? it almost looks like 20inch lol! they do look nice though! and pound hard! also what is the rms rating on those subs?
  10. i am guessing you are using your own shirt! 0:19 pause that bitch and check yourself out! lol nice six pack! p/s i am not gay sorry! LOL but i do feel bad for that shirt! i hope it recovers from the rape!
  11. lol looks like your sun roof is getting raped lol and what is a 17year old doing with a caddy? and I wonder how your electrical is hold up?? other then that nice video keep them up and please do take a pic or 2 that way you have something to reference your next build off of. like how bad it was and how much better it is now! know what i mean!
  12. or just use a switch if you don't want to use a relay!
  13. i would estimate 8days depending on how many SA subs he is making that day!
  14. o in that case put the fluke on DC the --- not the ~ symbol and touch the positive and negative terminals on the amp, where you plug the wires into to give the amp power! remember the amp TAKES DC voltage and outputs A/C voltage
  15. for starters what are you measuring? battery voltage? amp output? but i assume you are measuring the amp output b/c you are in the a/c setting and you are setting your gain... so with this first disconnect the sub then put the dmm into those terminals and play a 50-60hz tone and turn your h/u 75% of the way up and this is for the sub stage i am talking about
  16. question do you have any issue with heat as the amps are mounted face to face? i assume no b/c they are still mounted like that but i thought i would ask!
  17. now that is cool cup trick!
  18. P/S did you ever get those duel input adaptors yet? if so give them a shot see if ti helps with the current/ voltage/ wattage or does anything at all! I am interested in the results!
  19. o wow! nice box! looks similar to the box in the civic! and you got yourself an NSB battery!! (i am running 2-nsb90's)
  20. HOLY COW i didn't he posted that info on his site! thanks for the heads up!
  21. question you are running low on stock...how many on average do you stock at any given time? and or how many did you sell? that is if you can answer those questions if you can't no big deal i was just wondering, and a little curious to how many of these subs you are selling off hand. other then that almost out of stock is great for a seller not for customers lol!! keep up the awesome work!
  22. Hey guys i was going to cut out some holes today and i was wondering if anyone knew the cutout diameter for a 12inch NS v1 I was thinking off hand it was something like 10.875 (7/8 = 0.875)
  23. O I am a tool maker well mold maker actually so those will be no issues to make for me lol
  24. hey what size are those 3 ports? 6s?
