  1. well they are nonbelievers b/c i am also a non believer until i seen the number lol. but realy i would never have thought a single 8" could do over 150db's lol. but then again a 8inch sundown jsut isn't a normal 8inch sub either lol.
  2. nice!! and wasn't that on like ~7k ish. i am looking for the thread but i am coming up dry. i think i remember that number.
  3. holy cow your amp accepts 4/0!! wow beefy!! or do you mean 4guage? lol! check this site out http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1557428/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046 and somewhere on this site, i just can't seem to find it right now lol https://weldingsupply.securesites.com/cgi-bin/einstein.pl
  4. i have never used either of those amps sorry. but i know sundown audio has a saz3500 and saz4500 and a saz3000. and all those amps do way over rated power on 12voltS! but ya as for pricing you cna get a saz3500 for around 700 and a saz3000 for about 550 and the 4500 for over 1200 lol! but ia m sure you cna find these amps for cheaper if you look around some! (used that is)
  5. wow!! nice number!!! what were the ns v1 numbers? 1xx.5...my memory is failing me in my old age lol.
  6. by the first one you mean this one right? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290366545106&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT which says This Handheld Wire Crimping Tool is a must for any Professional Car Audio Installer or serious Autosound Enthusiast it also says this is for standard and not oversized wire..umm interesting to note! thanks, i wll make sure i read up on it more before i make a buy! but really thanks a lot for your input it has been a great help so far! you rock! thanks again!
  7. hey i found that one on welding supplies! https://weldingsupply.securesites.com/cgi-bin/einstein.pl?Next::1:UNDEF455708:AND:04040 8$ cheap!
  8. so maybe using both the hydrolic and the soldering tool would be ideal then!
  9. thanks!! this i wnat to see!!
  10. That would work. Does not have to be anything expensive. A larger one would hold more fuel, but anything would work. Check out Harbor Freight if you have one. I crimp one side at a time with my wire cutters to get a closer fit the heat then lug and let the solder run into it to fill it up. i don't know the hand hydrolic pump sounds preetty solid! but how solid is the solder?
  11. mini torch..like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/900-227-Butane-Mini-Soldering-Torch-w-CPSC-Approval_W0QQitemZ350291940001QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item518f06d2a1 and thanks! also for the hydrolic crimper do they make a SOLID crimp? steve siad the first 2 are a bit clumpsy so i guess how solid the first 2 would be, woudl depend on my strenght?
  12. i am leaning towards the hydraulic one myself, b/c it is a decent price and i ALWAYS have a air line present! thanks! anyone else?
  13. So i was looking on ebay for some 1/0 plus crimping tools and i ran into these 3! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290366545106&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300369545241&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250506888778&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and i was wondering if anyone had ANY experience with any of those 3 device used to crimp there terminals to the wires. i currently use a vise/hammer and chisel and i have been noticing my wires are stiff if that makes sense? so anyways if you have used these tools in the past please give a quick review of what you liked and or didn't like and if you would recommend it to me!
  14. well double the power ~ = 3db on the meter. but 1000rms is still 1000rms! the way the sub handles the power and the for a burp at a given tone how much the impedance rish and all that other fun stuff! i guess all in all 1000rms is still 1000rms so they sound the same lol. but not really! pending on name brands and what not! but lets say you are comparing a z15 to a nsv2! which one sounds better? the z15 due to how it is build but with a 15inch sub ported who cars how it sounds!
  15. It's on bulgarian. You wont get a thing Well you asked : http://tuning.bg/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=54742&start=1230 lol~!~ nice! o well i don't understand a word or symbol!! lol! !

  20. o i love college! lol! i am currently in college and i am doing exam's!!
  21. do you plan on upgrading or getting multiple subs in the future for future applications? if you plan on upgrading to something bigger get the saz2000 for future applications which could require more power then the saz1500 could put out? but if you plan to keep just a single sub (the 18inch) maybe just stay with the a saz1500! they are both a tank of an amp and with the economy the way it is save money where you can!
  22. doesn't sound like a fuse issue to me sounds like a ROAD issue! stop driving down that road! LMAO jk!! but i had a similar issue and i just redid my grounds and it all worked out!! make sure to grind it down to bare metal via disk grinder and then put your ground there then maybe put some grease on it to prevent rust~!
  23. well for me i will be using my remote gain in the future b/c i have little siblings, and older peoople who drive around with me and when listening to music the sub(s) will be over powering so it will be a curtasy thing to have remote in my car!
  24. that is the site i was thinking of with the unbadged deka! it was remybattery.com lol! i knew someone would know the site! but it looks like they sold out of the unbadged ones for like 120each or something like thaT!
