well i talked to the guy i got it from (dirt cheap btw!) and he said that the issue with these amps was the big resistor inside would pop off the board, but that was on the 1st version they made, he said his is the 3rd, and its never given him a problem. i think im gonna keep it for now, well see how it goes. 400 cash local pickup for that batt and the amp, thats a damn good deal IMO.

i want to, if i can find the guy that wanted to trade me his 2500d for my turbostart batts...the powerbass is nice though too...ive heard people that have had no problems, but ive heard people that have, like my friend that had one...it broke 2 times...

which would you guys pick? both would be @ 1 ohm, and i just got a kinetik hc2400 as well (for the mini) the amp is for my 12" mt only thing is ive heard the failure rate on the PB is alot higher than the 2500d. my friend has an xa3000, and its broken 2 or 3 times already, even after PB fixes it. it does good power, just i dont want it breaking down on me... i got it MINT for about 200 bux... 400 for the battery and the amp, both are like new, ill post pics later

Like a plate amp? Idk...I was gonna get a better amp, but I got this a while back brand new for 200 shipped, and I've heard for the money, its a decent amp.

this is the final diagram of how im going to build it. we moved in a few days ago so i was here long enough to move the couch around, etc, and take measurements. the blue is going to be the desk. on top of the desk im going to build shelves. i think its gonna look bad ass...my problem is, i cant make it until i get the boxes designed. should i put both in that corner next to the couch, or put one there, and the other sub on the other end of the desk, by the closet door?

im tempted to sell my eminence and run like 20 of these for 18 bux each....

could u guide me towards one to buy? how much are they? and how do i hook it up with that, the reciever, and the amp? also, on the recievers EQ, it has like 6 bands...do i adjust the bass from that, or just turn the gains on the amp to where i need them? i still need the xover as well for the sub amp...i hooked it up last night to a HT reciever, didnt get that loud, but the lights were shaking, and this was on a 10" type x in a prefab ported box lol

i need a reciever thatll work with my behringer ep1500. my current one has no sub out, and the only one in the house that does is a HT reciever, and it sounds like ass. should i find a stereo reciever with a sub out, or a HT reciever? being that its for music, i should get a stereo one right?

alright. ive got the dimensions. i have 2 options of building this. its kind of going to be trial and error until i find the right height i want the desk to be, but here it goes. the box needs to be 4.5 cubes each (2 seperate boxes) and tuning...im guessing like 20ish or 24hz or something? 95% of the time its for rap music. once in a blue moon i may watch a movie on it. but for the most part, i want it to sound best on rap music. the dimensions im working with are 39" x 37" (width and length) using those 2 dimensions, i need to see how high it will be to make 4.5 cubes after determining the tuning and port length, etc. if i like the height, ill build the box using that width and height. can anyone help me? the sub will be down firing, as far as the port, i dont know if i should down fire that, or what.... VJ

im using a 16 tweeter setup

ive already got the crossoeers and everything made...i dont wanna change now.. lol plus i have all the drivers and the wood for the towers, i just havent built them yet.

ill have 2 towers, each with 2 7s, 2 5 1/4s, and 1 tweet. then the 2 18s in a seperate box.

im using Dayton aluminum 7's and 5.25's and vifa tweets. dont know what reciever yet.

i dont want plexi ...i want it all birch to match.
