  1. Excellent job Chop! You made that look pretty easy man.

That spot just might work for you. Try using some pvc caps to mount the tweeter in. Then use some metal tubing pieces to connect it to the door panel. Not too much fab for this either. Ive seen it here on another build and was always very interested in trying it.Looks better on the a pillar though.
  3. Its a quality amplifier and will work at that ohm. It will deplete the life of the amp much faster though. Its all up to you, as its your dollar.
  4. So why not use the money on a better temporary woofer if you are unable to wait? $120 towards a new SSD? I hate to tell you but...if you plan on spending $1500 on what is in your sigs next build...think again.
  5. Whats really the point? Probably as much as you want, till you smoke it. I think Fi already answered that with their rms rating. Im pretty sure they have the most optimum conditions possible for testing their drivers.

If you are putting the comp set in the door, then it would be wise to keep the tweeter as close to the mid as possible. What are you exactly doing to the doors to accommodate the set?
  7. Where is the SSD in your sig? Youre about to spend $120 on temp subs when thats about the half the price of a quality one. Plus whatever the enclosures cost.
  8. It can be done but it isnt warrantied anymore for that. If you have good electrical, its doable, but not advisable for the average joe that doesnt compete.
  9. Very subjective question that has been asked before. Save your money and buy once to buy right.
  10. X2. I didnt see it movin at all. Looks loud as hell though. Whens the release and whats the price?
  11. Welcome dude.
  12. Every car is different. That's very hard to answer definitively. Trial and error is the real answer.
  13. Unngghhh. I wanna go... Hawk, I know you will be at this one. Bring your camera dude!
  14. I have these speakers as well. Have them in angled 6x9 boxes but I imagine an IB install would sound much better. They do kill on rock though.
  15. That sounds ridiculous. You must have patience in this game or you will mess shit up. Walk, dont run.
  16. If it was, GW would be a three time idiot. Sorry Rs, but its dead on accurate.
  17. Give it a rest dude. You smoked your Xcon already, were about to toast those by nines, and now the radioshack driver will die with over excursion.
  18. I wanna see a walmart sub sound better then a btl... I think he meant in the right enclosure. But still...a BTL? That must be one fnucked up box!
  19. $206 for one tire on my truck. Ouch. That hurt. And that was the cheapest! Next is idler and pittman arms. Any know where to pick up the stabilizer kit for under $200? Two brackets and some hardware doesn't seem at all worth it. It prevents fore and aft play.
  20. Looks clean to me. Nice job, Duran. Now where is the video?
  21. Ok, turns out I had it in my head that the show was Saturday, didn't pay much attention to the date, drove down to Tucson only to find out there is no show today, it's tomorrow! Man I feel stupid. Should be there tomorrow though. . Hehe.
  22. Here! :lifevest: I need some too. Second gear is slipping!...
  23. Here is the Stormtrooper I needed to hear. Wasnt as loud as the autorama but still sick! I had the whole pic of the truck...had.
  24. This shit was funny! Couldnt really get an angle from this side. Wanted a demo...
