  1. I ordered a 3500D and now looking into purchasing a second battery. I currently have an older group 34 optima yellow top under the hood, 1/0 gauge wire ran to the trunk and the big 3 done. I'll be buying a 200 amp alt soon as well. I'm having a hard time deciding on which battery is the best between the Kinetik HC3800 or the PowerMaster D3100. I'm unable to find the complete stats on both. Some stats I have found, the Kinetik has 135AH and the PowerMaster has 117AH. The Kinetik is rated for a 3800 watt system and the PowerMaster 4000/5000+ watts. I havent been able to find CCA or CA for either although I did find the PowerMaster is rated for 3,200A Max Amps. The Kinetik is more expensive so I'm currently leaning towards the PowerMaster but I really want the best battery available.
  2. I ordered my 3500D just a few mins ago. Any news on when you will receive them? Can hardly wait to put my strokers to work, hope this bad boy doesnt blow them before I get my new sub to replace them. lol
  3. Nice truck! Yeah I figured they would be around $500. I sent an email to Ascendant Audio for a quote. I think you sold me on them, thanks!
  4. Thanks for making my decesion even harder, that Mayhem does look very nice. Do you know how much they go for price wise?
  5. Both the Fi and the DC lvl5 are rated for 2000 rms to 4000 max. The Nightshade is I believe 1500 rms 3000 max. Yeah I'm sure your right that the nightshade could work out ok with the gain down but I'm looking to get the most out of the amp so I would perfer something rated a little higher.
  6. I'm planning to purchase a 3500D I also plan to purchase a new sub for it in the near future. I'd like to hear some opinions on which I should buy a fully loaded Fi BTL 15" or a DC LVL 5 15" I debated on a Nightshade 15 as well but they are not rated for this much power daily, maybe when the monster is released I'll switch over to a sundown sub. Thanks
  7. Thats great news and bad news since I've had to dip into my amp fund some to pay bills... Hope I don't miss out on getting one..... =(
  8. Thanks for the reply. So just to be clear if I was to order dual 1 ohm it would be optimized for dual 1 ohm only, but if I order dual 2 it will be optimized for 2 ohm but still accepts 1 ohm not optimized?
  9. Hello, I'm planing on purchasing a BTL 15 or 18 depending on what I decide will fit best in the trunk of my 2001 Honda Accord coupe. I will be getting a Sundown 3500D to power it. I plan to get my BTL in the dual 2 ohm config so I can run it at 1 ohm. My question is about the Universal option, I most likely will be fine with the dual 2 ohm config for as long as I'm using the sub however I figured I'd go ahead and get the Universal option just in case. But then I read this: "If you do not choose this option your motor(s) will be optimized per the coil resistance that you have chosen." So with it being optimized for dual 2 ohm make it perform better than being universal? Thanks.
  10. Just a heads up these links are no longer working.
  11. I can hardly wait to get my hands on one!
  12. Thanks Jacob, I'll be sure to set him straight.
  13. I have a freind that claims to be a Team Sundown member who says he can get a SAZ-10000d. I told him I've been reading the forums and the newest amp your working on is the SAZ-4500d and he must be confussed. He was drunk at the time and wouldn't listen to me. So my question is, are you really working on a SAZ-10000d or is he just a drunk idiot?
  14. Do you currently expect to have plenty 3500d's for the pre-order? I'm asking cause I would prefer to wait till close to the end of the pre-order to order one say beginning of august? However I wouldn't want to risk not getting one.
  15. Ok, thanks Jacob. Do you currently expect to have plenty 3500d's for the pre-order? I'm asking cause I would prefer to wait till close to the end of the pre-order to order one say beginning of august? However I wouldn't want to risk not getting one.
  16. Thinking about purchasing one of the refurbished 3000d or I may get in on the pre-order for the 3500d. My question is regarding the warranty on the refurbished one. I see on the dB-r site that I will get a "1 Year Warranty from dB-r Electronics" but I'm wanting to know if I will get the 5-year discounted replacement policy you also offer on new amplifiers?
