Z15 v nightshade 15
What I meant by ""SQL"" is I am interested in spl and sq, So I would like a sub that is somewhat musical while producing respectable spl off 1200 rms. The term is used so frequently I thought ppl would know what I meant.

SAX-50.4 and Z15 Close-Out Sales
do you think a fan will be necessary for 1200rms for a few hours daily? No, but if u notice the amp getting hot add one

You will be fine where ever you decide to put it. I think the noise they meant was the actual fan running which you will not hear when your radio is on anyway. As for the temperature, I don't think you will be getting the amp to "cold". Unless your installing an a/c unit as well. lol

Should I use my SAE1200 or SAZ1500?

SAX-50.4 and Z15 Close-Out Sales
I would run the Z15 as it is more of a sq driver (that does not mean you will not get lots of bass). As far as mids go i'm not real sure. I haven't used many brands.

With either one of those subs you will definitely feel it. Either one is a good option. The DC will probably have the potential to get louder as it is geared more toward spl. But the Sundown will still get quite loud and is a great price right now. of course you could spend $320 and pick up one of the nightshades he has for sale. I personally would buy the nightshade. In the end it is really a matter of you making a decision. They are all great subs all will get loud. BTW I ran two kicker cvr's in a sealed box. Any of those subs in a ported box will destroy the kickers. Just be sure you get a dual 2ohm sub so you can get the max out of your amp. Install and enclosure are always a HUGE factor in how your system will turn out so don't forget that.

B-Stock / Used Motor Nightshades - BLOW OUT
^^^ in what way? They are basically bad ass spl subs that sound pretty good too. I would say unless you are a big sq guy these will be great for high power single sub applications. and this price is AMAZING!!!

Re-Coned SI BM 10s Blowout - $60 + Shipping Each
I have seen alot of ppl asking about comparisons for this sub. All I can say is if it performs anything like the the SI BM's it will be great. I love my BM 12 (same model). I hope this sale is still here in a couple of weeks so I can pick up two of these, I am still saving.

IA 187 and a sundown sae1200
Hello to everyone. I just ordered a 15" 187 and i am going to pair it with a sundown sae 1200d. was wondering if I could get some suggestions on what size ported box and tuned to what to build. its going in a jeep grand cherokee so space is not too much of an issue. also any opinions on how it will sound are welcome. My goal is to get the best spl while retaining sound quality. thanks
