Yeah Jacob does a 150.1 with a single SA-8 but look at other guys with a single 18" doing 160's lol And he already told you if the boxes were both built to specs on an 12 and 18, the 18 would win.... true...

CCA I think carries around 5% less current, fairly insignificant numbers.

Cars don't run off batteries they run off alternators so get some sort of dry cell and purchase a h/o. If you are going to be using that same amp anyway which you stated was only 1,000rms you should be fine anyway
