how to get louder?
x2 - Without a mic you cant test anything. Did you try flipping the subs towards the cabin? If so did you flip down the seats? Basically anything you do to decrease the volume of your vehichle will help. That is why flipping the subs toward you would be great because you could seal off the trunk and get rid of all that extra volume in there. You can also flip down the sunvisors etc. You need to play around with opening doors and closing doors as well as windows.

RTA?
Alright. I get what you are saying. The RTA is useless to me unless I plan on doing a SQ competition. Other than that it is pointless because it will most likely sound like crap to me even though it was probably intended to sound like that. I guess it would be better without because everyone has different preferences in the way that they listen to music. Some people like to hear symbols and whatnot while others like to hear more drumpedal notes.

grounding ?
What do you mean by cleaner connection? I planned on grounding as many grounds to one spot as i could. Does this mean it would be better for me to run the ground to the battery? If I were to run the ground to the battery the distance would only be like 5 ft versus 8 ft. The ground to battey would be 3 ft.

grounding ?
I am putting in 3 external batteries in the back of my suv. The batteries are obviously going to be grounded to the chasis. I have been confused on whether it would be better to ground the amps to the chasis as well or if it would be better to run the ground to the batteries. The batteries are each going to have 2 runs of 1/0 to the chasis. Which is a better idea?

RTA?
At work we have numerous rtas used to test the frequency responses of circuits. This is tested through an osciloscope input. My question is if I were to find a mic that had an osciloscope conenctor at the end of it would the rta work for what I want it to do?

Chris' Wall Build in the Aviator vids p.35
This is somewhat what I would like the front of the wall to look like if possible.

Chris' Wall Build in the Aviator vids p.35
This is what I want the back hatch to look like when it is all done. The batteries will go in that bottom piece that looks like a box. That will also be a bench to sit on if for some reason I have more than one passenger. The blue piece is my electronic crossover and the black and silver boxes are the sundown amps. Criticism please.

I have to come up with a list that will describe the order in which I am going to approach this build. Tell me how this sounds. I already have the front speaker wires ran but I decided I am going to go active so I need to run a second strand to both sides. I am running new RCAs because I do not like the ones I have now. I am installing a new radio because the one I have is outdated. I also have not ordered any subwoofers yet or subwoofer amps. To start off with I will: Run the second strand of speaker wire to each front side Install new radio Run RCAs to back of car Run all my grounds since they will be near impossible to get to aftrer the wall is built Run wire to designated areas for the LEDs because they will be near impossible to run after wall is built Build Wall Paint Wall Install Subs Install Amps and Batteries Mount Electronic Crossover Might have to run a tube inside the port for a fog machine where ultraviolet LEDs will be shinning out of the port =) Tell me what you think and let me know if I should change anything

Nitrotech is by far the worst tasting protein I have ever tasted. I get so many of their sampler packets that I just throw them away. People that I lift with do not even want them because of how disgusting it tastes. It is incredibly expensive and tastes terrible. Great results are to be gained through it though. Wow thats a first for me. Maybe they have fallen off since the last time I used it but strawberry was the shit! Expensive?...hell yes. Horrible tasting?...well I guess we'll agree to disagree. Never tried the strawberry. The chocolate made me want to gag.

Ya. I have to buy a mic that I can use on my dmm. I might just buy the epicenter with the db meter on it. I know its not great but it should get the job done just for tuning purposes.

Chris' Wall Build in the Aviator vids p.35
This is directly from Aaron - "We prefer them in the 6.25 - 7.125 for most installs". I will ask him about tuning frequency tonight. Also I would like to adjust it for spl setup when I compete so I would like to do something like you did (adjustable/removable port).

I forgot we are talking audio terms here. By crap i mean i do not want it to sound muddy and sloppy. I just want it to hit the notes I throw at it below 63 or so hZ

My weight training progress so far
You should incorporate legs into your workout. This is essential if you want to look proportionate as well as increase your upperbody strength believe it or not. If you just want to look good and get cut up may i suggest buying The Encyclopedia of Modern Body Building by Arnold Schwartzenager. This book gives you virtually every exercise in the world and also gives you beginner, advanced, and expert training routines. It tells you how to eat and what to eat. The best book out there if you want to get informed. There are some drawbacks to the book since there are about 150 pages of bodybuilders in speedos lmao!

Also I would like to make the box as big as possible without making it sound like crap. I do not want it to be for spl but daily. I understand that I will be able to tune the port but I do not know how much of a factor box size will play in how good the sub will sound.

"OK, lets revive this build log. I need you to post what you are gonna be running in your wall. I need to know the subs, the amps and the batteries that are going to be used. This is the information i got off of your video, if it does not match up to your Aviator, let me know immediately before i start the build process. Baffle = right behind front seat area Height - 42.25" for baffle height, 38" once over the hump. Width - 50" in baffle location, 44" wide throughout the rest of the vehicle. Width 2 - 41.75" wide if box goes to the headliner.. Depth - 37" on the hump, 63" total. 2 questions i have- Depth - am i to assume that you can use 26" of depth in between the hump and front seats? If this is true, how close would the box be from touching the seats? and other question - when measuring from bottom up, how high can i go before the width starts shrinking from 44" to 41.75"? The measurements you did at the VERY back of the vehicle are irrelevant for the box design as you stated your equipment will be installed back there. I just need to be able to draw it out as square as possible without having to contour the design every few inches. The front WILL be bigger than the back, but i do need to know the above questions before i start." -Shizzon I can tell you the equipment now and then tomorrow I will have to take measurements in the car. 4 18" Xcons 2 Sundown SAZ-3500D 1 Sundown SAX100.4 1 Sundown SAX50.4 3 or 4 C&D UPS12-490MR Batteries In the back I figured we would hide the batteries in what would look like a bench. Above the bench we can have the 2 3500s next to each other, then the 100.4 below them in the middle and then the 50.4 directly under the 100.4. I will draw up a picture in paint tomorrow at work since my mac does not have paint =(

Animal pack is a waste of money. The only thing it is is just a multivitamin with added energy supplements. The same can be achieved with a cheap $20 bottle, 365 day supply of Kirkland Brand Sports Multivitamin. As for the best supplement I have taken I would have to go with No-Xplod. Even though it is terrible for you, makes you addicted, and causes mood swings it is a must for the gym. I go crazy just looking at the weights. Another great product is Sci-Fit Kre-Alkalyn. It is the best creatine supplement on the market. It is 10x more potent than powdered form creatine and there is no need to cycle off. I gained significantly in my main lifts from this product alone. My bench went from 350 to 365, my squat jumped from 420 to 445, and my deadlift shot from 465 to 500. This was over the course of a month. Creatine takes 2 weeks in order to start seeing results as well. For protein you cannot beat Optimum Whey Gold Standard. For the money it is great. You also get all you BCAAs in so the protein can efficiently make muscle. There is practically no sugar or anything unhealthy that is added to make it taste good.

The amount of runs really dosent matter you just need to make sure the batts are charged before entering it. You should test them reguardless. I think what you should do is install it with a single kinetik and see what the voltage drops are looking like. If they are significant get another.

should i run mayhem 12"s
buy 2 icon 12s ... the power acoustik is going to be overrated and you will be lucky to get 2000 watts out of it ... the mayhem is very expensive ... if you buy 2 icons you will double the cone area and it will be louder

It should be enough. Honestly it depends on how you are going to use it for at shows. Do u plan on using it for burps or for a longer duration. If a longer duration how long?
