  1. You need to look on the Contact/Dealer page for your state and order through them. If your state doesn't have one contact rusty (rusty 'at' dcsoundlab.com) o man stratford has a dealer
  2. thanks ... do you know if fluke makes a db meter somewhere in that range?
  3. me and my friend made a ported box tuned to 28 hz ... we followed the volume according to the specifications of the subwoofers (2 12" pioneer premier ts-w3002d4) ... we made 2 separate 1.4 cu ft boxes ... the output is not what we thought it would be ... we want it to be louder and maintain sound quality ... what size cu ft box should we make to get more output? .... should we combine them into a single box? ... if so how do you do the portwork insde?
  4. im taking this peak note is strictly for competition and not for daily correct? ... i would like to know more about ur wall build as i plan on walling 4 18s in my suv ... im subscribed to this topic as well
  5. i plan on building a wall of 4 18" subs powered by the new saz-4500 when it comes out at .5 ohm ... i have around 32 cu ft of volume to use up if i want ... i do not know which subs to get ... i am going to be using these for daily listening and i like punchiness and my lows ... i am trying to maintain sound quality while also staying loud .... which 18" sub would you choose? ... i am open to all options and opinions
  6. really? i thought that played a large role. like i thought if it was 90db sensitive and u had 2 it would be 93 and then you double the wattage each time and that increases the db by 3 ... then if u have a hatch it adds around 16db
  7. thanks ... how will it do at .5 ohm daily? i will be tuning it with an oscilloscope
  8. i decided on 4 18" subs idk which yet tho ... do u know the 18" nightshades sensitivity? ... i want it loud and to sound good ... i like punchy bass as well
  9. i was going to wall them in my suv ... i drive a lincoln aviator
  10. i was just wondering how much the dc level 4 xl 18" subs cost ... cant find a price n e where ... i was thinking about buying 4
  11. what you thinking about selling them ICONS for? nothing ... dont know if there is something better out there ... i think im going to go 4 18s ... ik i dont know where it came from either
  12. thats what we are going to do ... just wanted to know what else it could be if that wasnt it ... thanks
  13. just made my day ... im doing it if someone buys my stuff ... we are supposed to be putting it in their car in the next couple weeks ... hopefully all goes well
  14. it is a 1.4 cubic ft box tuned to 28hz ... 1 inch width by 12 inches for the port... bxi2006d amplifier ... the subs were in my car but in a sealed so i couldnt tell
  15. i was thinking about buying 4 18" nightshades and walling them ... how bad would they sound with techno music and just as a daily driver ... ik 18s are huge and i still want them to sound good and punchy... just throwing ideas around
  16. cant find any documentation on this amp ... ik its not out yet
  17. i plan on buying the saz-4500 when it comes out ... i have a sealed box that is around 6 cu ft .... i need 4 12" subs ... what would you buy? ... i like my subs to get loud and sound good ... xover at around 60hz ... i listen to rap and techno
  18. what is the mounting depth for them and what is the sensitivity on them? ... how would they do in a sealed box? ... what size sealed box do they typically need?
  19. my friend and i made a ported box with 2 separate chambers ... 1 chamber for each sub ... each has its own portl .... for some reason in one of the chambers a flapping noise is coming out of the port ... the other sub seems fine and no flap is coming out ... each sub is wired independently as well ... we took the sub out and vacuumed the chamber and the noise is still there ... what could this be? ... is it possible that there is something wrong with the sub causing it to flap? .... the noise fluctuates with the frequency ... ex lower frequency will create a harder slower flap
  20. is there a meter that costs like $150 instead of just stepping up to this. i dont need it to be that accurate i just want a round about number ... need something that can measure around 155 db (just to be safe lol)
  21. j/w how u tested this .... id like to see where my peak frequency in my car is
  22. with a dmm there is room for error ... try to get your hands on an oscope so you can be completely sure ... u can get away with 825 if u want to use a dmm ... u r still a 100 watts under max
  23. for $25 why not buy it? ... if u dont like it throw it out lol
  24. btw id rather a different set of amps ... if i could return them i would .... they are power pigs with a 500 and 150 amp fuse rating ... wish the sundown 4500 watt amp was out
  25. for the short amount of time i had them in they bumped ... i had to take them out because the t8004 was putting out dc instead of ac on one channel and ruined a mid ... they were vibrating the floor xd over at 80hz ... pretty much just an incredible speaker ... i ran them full range just because and they were fine with 180 watts each lol
