Parallel Wiring Question
I am wiring my d2 subwoofers to 1 ohm. When looking at the diagram below the outputs from the amplifier go to different different coils. Can I have both the positive and negative amplifier outputs going to one coil and have them branch off to the other coil? http://www.the12volt.com/12voltimages/1_2ohm_dvc_1ohm.gif

Chris' Wall Build in the Aviator vids p.35
Hahaha I forgot my facebook status transfers over to my ssa account. I am still using headphones =( I am just loving the beats and can't wait to play some chopped and screwed in my car. It's going to be insane. Hopefully this weekend the subs will be in and then next weekend the front stage will be all set.

Hopefully the subs are in this weekend. I am back at college now so we can only work on it on the weekends.

What about agm batteries and concrete? The batteries are plastic wrapped so I don't think any contact will matter.

Starting a new kerfed enclosure
The second one has more port area. If you look, it is the same as the first box but with an added back piece.

amp for icons?
It would be helpful if we knew what the final resistance you planned to wire these subs to as well as which kinetic battery you plan on buying. If you plan on having a 3000 watt amp to power those icons you are going to need more than just a kinetic battery. Also, if you are on a $350 budget you arent going to get a good amp in that price range.

Breaking Up Hurts
If I had to crash a party that would be the way to do it.

I find this absolutely hilarious. Like yes it is a bitch move but think about it. You cleared an entire party out using a speaker.

alot of noise being picked up
ummm iv got a noise problem my self but its a problem i never had before i put the system in over a year ago never had any noise at all. I pulled my deck out the other day and when i put it back in i had this nasty buzz that would change with engine rpm and you could here a bit of engine "wine" also but the buzz is much louder but what is really weired if i change source or change channel i get a thump or if i turn the volume from 1 to 0 i get a thump or from 0 to1 and it comes form both my sub amp and mids amp. My amps grounds are well made and tight and i tried a different deck and they both do the same thing but they are both pioneer's what is it about pioneer that would cause a noise problem? The only thing i can think of is my decks ground or maybe i broke a ground strap some where im going to run a new ground for my H/U and c if that does it Make a new thread. Nobody is going to answer your question because they won't see it.

finally starting to piece together my system
you are going to loose A LOT of output

yeah and daily driver So are you going to be turning the gains down on the 3500s or are you running them full tilt? I am also curious to know what you are doing for your electrical and front stage.

Ya I was going to say you might want to get the 3500s. I am taking it that this will be for competition use?

That is gonna be nuts. Did you decide on a box design yet? The 4500s would be nice btw.

what amp should i go with?
Needs that power @ 2 ohm though.

what amp should i go with?
I would personally get the sundown saz-2000d. It is rated at 1000 rms @ 2 ohm but it is an underrated amplifier. 1000 watts rms is also rated at 12.8 volts vs kicker's 1500 @14.4 volts. This amplifier will also be easier to resell and if you ever want to get another stroker you can use the same amplifier. Kicker is a 2 ohm stable amp and nobody wants a 2 ohm stable amp =) Sundown amplifiers come with a 2 year warranty.

what amp should i go with?
So you want to throw 2400 watts at the stroker, it can be done if you leave the gain knob down and you know how to control the volume knob wisely. I would get the kicker but it has a set sub sonic filter which would only allow you to build certain ported boxes tuned in a small frequency range instead of your preferences. I personally am not a fan of kicker. What is your budget?

kicker zx1000.1 bass boost ?
What do you mean? its flat on the edges and bubbly in the middle.
