I'm thinking about getting another 12" I currently have the Q in a sealed box and love the response and how quick it is to catch everything I throw at it; I have a sax-1200 running it. But I'm looking for something new and a little louder. Is it worth trying it in a ported box before I sell it or should I just jump to the RL-p is this sub any better? I keep hearing good things about it. I listen to a wide range of music depends on what im diggin at the moment. Owned a w7 before and old re se and some other not worth mentioning. So far Q has to be a favorite.

Why not get a retro kit off a tl or something and dremel your headlights up..

Wondering what you'll quote me at for a ported box its in a 2005 4runner. I'm thinking something in the range of 2.0 ^3 at 33hz where ever the sub faces or where the port point is at your suggestion.

Also keep hitting the center button because I'm trying to push up on it. Basically that control was annoying to me, but since I like the deck so much I'm getting the kiv-b900. More touch less knob.

Im looking to get it louder im put it where it should be Im more into SQ then how loud it gets I got it in a sealed box.

I picked this sub for cheap and all I have to power it is a sundown that pushes 600rms at 2ohm just was wondering if it would be okay to give the sub such low rms compare to what it could handle. or should I just get another amp that does 1000 at 2ohm. Also I have kinectic batteries with a 120amp alt wondering if that be fine or would I have to upgrade it anything. 12.8v and 14.5 at startup i think.

Thanks I was told by my friends to skip the rear but he never said why. I was looking into baffle for my 6x9s and deadening I can get a deal here for 219.99 with window tint. I know I can deaden myself for mad cheap I needed my windows tinted anyways. Its off topic but that's a nice m5, making me miss my 87 633.
