nice!, i first had my box tuned to 35hz, but wasn't cutting it for me lol, My gf had her best friend come over, so i figured i could try a double hair trick, she was lovin it! also, let me know if the video is dark or not, for some reason my lcd monitor is always so dark, so its hard to see it a bit on my computer, but on the video camera its good.

Looks like it works good!!, whats the box tuned to again?, Yea im dreading putting gas in the truck, so im still not 100% sure on it yet. Would be hard to give up my s10 lol.

thats a pretty sick set up, i love how theres so much room compared to our trucks lol, But if i get mine, i wont be pulling the rear seats, i need some room for extra people and things.... for now lol.

nice! any pics on that? My plans for the full size is 6" lift with 33 or 35" tires, but i do a lot of highway driving on weekends, so not sure how i want to go about it as i like to save gas as much as possible.

yea i did that alt mod, then i had it built up to a 220 amp, works good. But huge difference going from small case alt to the bigger 145 amp stocker. I wanted to mount them all down low, but they are pretty close to be equal now. Dont really feel like toying with the truck anymore, found out i might buy my dads 02 sierra 4x4 4dr in about 6 months, so im already starting plans for it, the 12's will have to be sold unfortunally due to i want to keep the rear seat in it, and i will prob. do 4 sa 8's off my saz 2K, stupid thing i just sold 2 sa 8's lol oh well, ill wait for the new ones to come out!

ive always wanted to do a Double Din in my truck, buts its hard to find the DD bezel for our trucks. Looks good!, what 15's are you running? How do you like them over the 12's? any videos??

lol the model is my gf, she helps put the box's in the truck, and hold subwoofers and build box's lol, then i make her try hair tricks lol. The amp is a sundown saz 2000, trying/wanting to get my sundown saz 3500 back for a bit more juice. Yea my truck does very well voltage wise. stays above 14volts full tilt while driving, and idle i have to give it some gas as it can drop to low 12's at times.

Well i never took more pics, i figured videos would be better, but yet again, it was windy and a bit cold, so i had to make due. I also uploaded the bad night video of the old box just for comparison, used the same song in the new video. Def moves more air, but not louder, still need to do some more tests, also, the old box massaged your back like crazy, this new box you can barley feel it on your back, i find that odd. The old subs were aligned with each other across the back behind the seats. *edit* the night video is normally blue in the background and you can see whats happening, but after uploading it, youtube makes it all black, so you cant see anything at all.

any updates from you traks? I started a new box yesterday, went to slot port to try a bigger port and lower tuning. 5.25 cubes, @ 31hz 84sq inches of port, finishing it up today, then going to toss it in, and if its worthy of videos, there will be some taken, I did take videos of the other box the other night doing a hair trick but very hard to see, so i never uploaded it to youtube. Here are some pics so far of the box. was hard fitting the subs in there with the L port lol *edit* for some reason the first pic was posted upside down lol

ok, so long as its not sloppy, then im happy with that, i think i may not go as high as 18, but 16 for sure!, thanks guys. I know jacob recomends, 1.75 per sa 12, tuned to 30hz, so what im going to do for 3, is 5.25 cubes, tuned to 31 hz, but ill try bigger port this time with 16 sq inches of port. right now im running 5.5 cubes at 35 hz, with 2 6" aeros.

yea ive been reading through it, but dont really understand it to much. Was having to re-read many parts will still not being able to understand it to much. I felt a little out of my place in that thread lol

So im on my way to building a new box, right now im using 2 6" aero ports, in a 5.5 cube box for 3 sa 12's. But i want to tune lower and cant with the aeros, so im going to have to go back to slot port. Now my question is what is the pros and cons of small vs big ports, i know people recommend 12-16 per cube, but thats pretty broad. So what would you gain or loose from having a port at 12 per cube, or 16 per cube?? or in the middle. Does the bass get sloppier with a bigger port? (this is all for music by the way)

jud from where? how much were they? and i do have room for external, but i need to add on 8", so that would have it almost hitting my roof. and would just look really stupid lol

well i thought this one was "it", but it just doesnt hit the lows like i want it to, its very disappointing as i thought this was going to be the box, but unfortunately it needs to be tuned lower, and unfortunately i cant use my aeros i paid so much for... as they need to be very long and i dont have the space for the length it needs to be 30hz. I know some what how i would do the box, just dont know on port area, 12-16 is such a huge difference for ports. I may have to ask derick what he used in his explorer with 4 sa 12's

voltage is above 14 v constant, and i set gains with oscope, and the song is from decaf i believe so it is boosted. So i will just have to turn the remote knob down 1 click. thanks!

I have had 2 songs make my amp go into protect mode. The amp is cool, Subs are cool, so its not thermal, Not a speaker short, so last would be over current. So would over current mean that the gain is to high for that song, its a high note that makes it do it. So the voltage is spiking to high for the amp? its a saz 2k. I just have to turn deck off, turn back on, and all good again. Does it at high volume/full tilt but only on a couple songs
