SPL tuning
nice enclosure design, have not seen to many like this, I know spl guys have their subs in and out alot, might be why i dont seee that alot....... so this is somewhat a walled grand am then, right? will the horizontal port, from the loading area, be restricted by the interior? i don't know too much on that. do you have alot of shows around you? spl soundofffs. are you wanting to compete full time? that Gary F. is probably on the right track, perhaps this will be a really sweet groundpounder

man you really took a step in the right direction.....i am impressed where you are going with this. looks like it will be a sweet ride to cruise in once you are finished.- SPL tuning
uh, the normal tunning is much higher for spl, it is not uncoomon to see 60 to 70 hz. perhaps by useing the search engine some, you can find some good reading on how to determine the frequency of your vehicle.... if someone was to attempt to help you in your goals, i beleive they will need more info from you. alot of testing will have to be done to zero you in on what works best ..... there is quite a bit to be discussed on what is your vehicle? what power do you have behind those SAZ-2000D's ? what are your spl goals? how much deadening have you done? your exact enclosure details and how it is situated in your vehicle will be important also. be prepared to answer 10 times the questions you ask.....it is sorta a science you know!? good luck- Tj's Audio
i like the overall box design, not sure if i am into the deadening on the box itself...... have to get back with you on that one, the gear you mentioned, the batcap, is that all the electrical upgrade? surely you got a couple of alts in there.... 8 12"s below the window line? is that like 2 cu ft per sub then? soooooooooo close to that 160 mark!!!!- any reccomendation for 18in subwoofers
this fellar right here is on to something.....^^^^^^^^^^ don't tease us, tell all of the details......every juicy little aspect- 2009 MECA Drive By SPL 4 World Champion

we used 6" foam couch cushions, cut to fit for the cougars fenders, and you can find a roll of peel and seal at the hardware store for 15 bucks, it will cover a decent area for cheap, the expanding foam will be at a hardware store, sometimes you can find the ol' two for five deal, just ask one of the employees where it is at..... usually it is close to the insulation area, and the peal and seal is close to roofing material.....uh, the couch was in the alley? lol, them fenders are dead though bud, went from bang bang to thud thud...! Just saying don't be afraid to improvise...- false floor.
so are you planning on the fans firing vertical? will they have obstructions placed on top at any time? i have seen some sweet installs incorporating a plexiglass top, with like 1" or so, air holes spaced across the entire surface, add a little lighting, couple of fans, you would be looking sharp. the idea of the above style is the fans will be inside the tray, faceing horizontally.....the heat has plenty of areas to rise out of there and the fans keep the air moving..... frosting the plex is sorta simple and is a easy cheat for future scratches, the combo of the lighting with the air holes and the frosted glass gives a nice look.- 12" Xcon Flared Port
so this is like really good, but i am not sure if you know what you are doing, the box is missing the entire top! lol how many actual hours are in an enclosure of this quality?- My new box
I bought a 4 ft concrete cylinder at Lowe's I am thinking about doing some experimenting with it to see what I can get out of it. Some people call them sonotubes or something of that nature. glass that sonotube......- How many DB's?
