my intentions were simple enough, fill in space with a cool look, fix the clowns.... we threw a bunch of filler on there, sorta cool looking to me! outlined it all...... then he switched over to the shader.... the outline had dual 8 coils....the shader was a 15 the outline nedle, a 5 round and the shader needle was a 15.... i guess i did not really get al the angles of the tatt.... sorry, the back side is tied in real nice, the next session will tie in everything up to the elbow.... so, a1/2 sleeve.... this shows some of the shadeing coming together,

  5. I Already Know!!! lol right on bro, i will keep a eye out on the Amazon site and ebay.... i am not sure our teachers had finished Calc in IPS school districts, fail! I look forward to the entire experiance, the challening parts just as much, if not more, i really want to elavate my overall exsposure in all aspects. sure it will take a while to absorb, but hey, at least i will have started in the right direction, you know!
  6. lmao @ you guzzleing the grease... hey, five, do you have a copy of the cookbook up for sale....???? hit me up with a pm if you do! chop I don't really use cookbooks, but if you are after a book or two to read to understand how things work in the kitchen I HIGHLY recommend: Cookwise by Shirley O. Corriher On Food on Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen by Harold McGee Neither are really cookbooks per se, not that they don't include recipes, but more importantly show lessons on why what happens when you do what. Shirley's book is probably an easier first read, but expect years to absorb it all. Outstanding reads IMO. Akin to the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook for audio. lmao.... oops, sorry, i sorta went off subject....... yeah i was assuming you had seen my last post in the "port area" thread..... i was asking if you had one of your older copies of the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook . however, now that you threw those into the loop, i will have to lok into them as well, i love my kitchen! but, back onto the audio scene for a sec..... i was wanting you to help keep a eye out for a cheaper copy of the LDC ..... you had mentioned seeing around $20..... or, perhaps if you had one to pass on, then i would be interested in buying it from you...especially if it was scribbled full of ///M5 notes and highlighted areas!! lol thanks chop
  7. box starts tomorrow..............................................again
  8. lmao @ you guzzleing the grease... hey, five, do you have a copy of the cookbook up for sale....???? hit me up with a pm if you do! chop
  9. five, we typically don't filter the bacon grease at all..... through it in a glass jar and keep it in the fridge dooor. i would be hard pressed to gauge how long to gather up enough for the deep fyer.... i will try to watch and see..... not long though between all of us. i agree with the Duck fat, but we do not eat it around here..... steve, nice addition to the electrical !
  10. would be a good opportuniy for you hawk.... the box the other guy has is a no go..... will explain later..
  11. five, if you see one that comes up for a low price, let me know.... going to have mom grab one up for my birthday gift....end of april but she always shops early.... our, pm me a price for one of you older ones! chop
  12. Where/how do you get enough bacon grease to cook 9lbs of fries?? :drools: mom and pastor save thier's, and we save our's.... keep in mind, breakfast here, typically feeds 12 to 15! 3 lbs. easy.... i do use shortning some times to bring the level back up if it is low..... i think we did 5 batches totall ...... on smaller dinners.... we do curly fries we feed 17 of us today, lol....ftw!

  14. looking good, quick build log, lol mine will be like 20x slower.... so all out that info, i missed the rca's ......would like all the info i could get on them as well as a few more pics..... the cap, tell all on it too, i am dusty on the latest trend of caps, are they back in acceptance now? i would think it appears to be larger than your need, that was always the rule for them, , lol, "go big" is that 7/8" birch? the pic shows four 15"s ....the box holds two..... whats up with that? oh, and the pic of the truck, FTW!!! chop
  15. the raw look of no extra is a nice approach..... a bobber.... will keep that in mind..... i found a fellar that is willing to talk about the iron.... two years ago he is said to had been #1 in the world on the tatt scene have not spoke to himin person, but will be soon.... i wanted someone who will have a appreciation for your craftsmanship, i went to a few shops but did not get the vibe i needed,,,,, if i don't get a good feel when i walk in, i do not even waste thier time ,,,,,, oh, question , is the bobber and a rat rod along the same line, is there a similar approach where the two are combined.... too much candy on yours for a rat rod, for sure, but i am sure you know where i am going with it.....
  16. lol, i just posted a big off topic post in my build thread, forgot about our ihop for a sec.... i am such a noob, lol

totally off subject , but, the dinner was rather good if i say so my self.... 7lbs. of smoked bbq chicken breast, 2lbs. of hot dogs, 3qrts. of my speacial bbq garbage beans(over a lb. of bacon in them), two big boxes of (velveta) mac & shells, 3lbs. of macoroni salad, 3lbs. of potato salad, 9 lbs. of home made french fries cooked in 100% bacon grease smothered with cheese, and i made a huge pineapple on the grill for desert...... good food, family, friends and fun..... we had a demo from iputon's 18" IA DR, being pushed with a SAZ-1500D, it was housed in a sweet ass enclosure that Mdizzle built... it sounded real frickin nice serving the lows on a Phil Collins mix...... Mikey done a quick amp install in a suburban and designed him a box for his 15" L7 .....in the alley, drive through style, lol, ftw! Shelly had a big art and crafts thing going, they cranked out some killer projects.... after we were all stuffed, it was time to watch 'cops' and catch a few zzzzz's, Jdawgg22 was out with the quickness.... it was a great time and screamed of what is to come this season for our crew! chop

oh, he will see em' lol..... we kick it about once a week .... uh, local IAK members, if you can, show up at the house today, i am going to fire up the smoker, i have like half a farm to cook up...bbq, chop style !.... all the sides too. hollar
  20. is the rear speakers still installed? if the rear stage is not ubber important to you, it would help to remove them, port through the rear deck...... I say this asuming that the rear seat is installed back to it's original location..... porting through the rear deck would take some pressure off the trunk lid and let it into the cabin... also, if you are interested, i could give you a few other tips on getting that lid to hush quite a bit....on the cheap. looking good..... chop

each time i go outside i get different numbers, see new angles, find new obstacles, change my mind on the over all impression..... have a second design, that is very similar to this one, vision the rear wall ..... the first baffle will extend to the roof....the seconde, will represent the enclosure's top height.... the same principal for the sides..... then creating a new roof across for this area...... having an exagerated 45' angle, horizontally in the top rear plane ( more of a half pipe though, letting the sound waves roll across it toward the front of the cab)... 150's would be fun.... spl dust & shipping to 46225?
  22. porkchop replied to porkchop's topic in Team IAK
thinking this is really close to where i will be with the numbers...... the brief sketch of the port can be seen here as well... the port will have weather stripping style seal compressed tightly against the baffle, as will the subs.... will use t-nuts for both sub and port..... yes the port looks big, it is based off of what the subs need however....( meaning, not based on the rule of thumb) this is a attempt to show how i intend to do the corners..... as appossed to just bouble baffles of the same dimensions resulting in a straight 90' seem in all corners.... looks like it would be stronger and air tight this way, imo i also plan on installing vertical and horizontal 45's in all inside corners....(not shown).... this would provide me ample air space, and port tunning. the subs will be inverted in this application.... the port can have the ability to extend outside of the enclosure as well as inside..... any thoughts thus far? thanks chop
  23. porkchop replied to porkchop's topic in Team IAK
well, i am at the point that i need to quit seconde guessing myself, lol i am rather happy with the overall design, i am happy with the volume, i think.... the build style...... still playing with numbers.... meaning useing 2"x4"s or double layer mdf.... single some places with all thread.... the port option, very well might do a drop in port...removable type with t-nuts.... this would offer alot of options without alot of demo / rebuild type work i will post up a little something in about a hour..... chop
  24. sweetness..... nice bikes bro for sure..... what style is the first one called?
