From rusty and info i have seen all over the forum. Like shizzon on this forum cant break a 153 on 4-5 aq 3500s he has 3 18s and 140 sq. in of port all in a wall. He cant get his numbers any higher so he getting more motor force and more port area. I think now he is doing 5 xl 12s on 5 aq 3500s and 400 sq in of port. You need lots of port. All the guys that put 5-10k to there lvl 5s have at least 20 sq in of port per cube. I have looked into it a shit load, because i didnt know what do myself. I still feel like i am going to need to make my port bigger. That was what i was hoping for when I started TTF

That will be great. When you are trying to put out big numbers you want lots of power, lots of port and lots of motor force. When you are trying make a sub take more power than it is rated at you shrink the box in size not the port. At least that what Rusty the owner of DC Audio told me. and he also has a rather good competition record: Team Hifonics Voted 2004 DB Drag Rookie of the year 2004 World Finals 3rd place finish SS1-2NW 2005 World Finals 4th place finish SS1-2NW 2006 World Finals 3rd place finish SS3-4 2006 Super Street DeathMatch Participant 2007 Super Street 3-4 163.1 with 2 amps 2007 West Coast SS3-4 Champion Badass

Never Competed but thought about it? I welcome you to!
I personally love USACi and you will meet lots of great people and learn alot Honestly I started Team Tex-Flex before ever going to a show. I was honestly scared to compete because I had never done it. I remember the first show i went too back in December it was a 2 day event USACi double point event. The first day i just watched people run and I myself was too scared too get in the lanes. The seconded day I asked for help and asked lots of questions. I basically had someone walk me through the 2 runs i did in Street Beat 3 and stock 601-1200. I ended up bringing home a 2nd place trophy. I felt like after all the hard work i put into my system, but after being very un happy with my numbers I tore it all out and sold everything. Then rebuilding several times trying to build something that met my satisfactions bringing home several trophies along the way. After my first show I wanted to be able to break a 147 db the highest number out of my two classes in my first show and I wanted to get an invite too finals this season. And i finally looks like i will accomplish my first goal after i finish my current build. And it also looks like i will make it too finals this season. I have learned so much from the people I have competed with, most of them are really helpful you just have to ask. I am willing to help any who has questions about USACi and am willing to help anyone threw the first run or two. I will be honest competing becomes very addicting at least too me. Also db drag

t 2500
yea i know its alot of money but its going to be a project so it doesn't matter ill save up till i have the money. Oh yea and in my nabor hood u steal something your going to get shot lol Thats conroe texas a bunch of hicks and hillbillies. But honestly if you are asking if 3500 watts is too much for a sub then you probably dont know too much about what your doing so i would stick to the rms rating of 2000 watts. You are also going to need to up grade your alt and ad a couple batts in the trunk.

All you got to do now is figure out how to make them all fit, I would put each on in 4-5cubes that box you have now allows to much excursion.
