  1. It's hard for me to wrap my head around that because after shipping and brokerage it was no less than $450US delivered. But someone who comes across the ad may not realize those extra expenses involved in obtaining one, new. Well the sub, is going to be harder to sell since it's not mainstream. exactly
  2. yea but alot of people will only pay about half of what it retails for, which is dumb, but it is the truth.
  3. i wasnt post dumping, my sub isnt even posted on here for sale. he asked if it was the wrong time to sell or if he was asking too much. i gave him my opinion and gave him an example.
  4. i think u might be asking a bit too much for the bl, im selling my 10 for 175 fully loaded. idk about the amps tho.
  5. lol nah man, its hard to do, soo many big dreams, and trying to figure out a way to afford them lol. actually i have this weird habbit of waking up at weird hrs and cant go back to sleep so i get on here lol.
  6. try sticking with 1 size box and using an adjustable port setup. i was told the easiest way to do this was to use pvc. start long and cut ur way down until u start losing dbs.
  7. 1. that box is awefully big, beings that fi recommends 2.5 cubes max. but u could probably use it and just watch ur gains. but only use it as a temporary box. 2. def finish the big three, and most people will tell u to use a fuse between each battery just to be on the safe side. and definately run 0 gauge for ur amp power and ground. 3. i have no experience with btls or sundown amps but have heard nothing but good things, and im guessing that even though u will be underpowering the subs by about 250 watts a peice, and the amps are highly underrated, and u dont need a specific amount of power to make something sound good. its still gonna be ungodly loud, in the right enclosure and with a good voltage. 4. try using winisd or the re enclosure calculator, or talk to shizzon on here.
  8. what kinda amp r u gonna be using?
  9. lmao!
  10. i think that sub was just made for the awe-factor...huge waste of money imo.
  11. yea it sounds like its the radio, what kind is it?
  12. did u check the actual wires on the speakers and on the indash? could b a bad ground on the indash.
  13. single sub setups=ftw!!!
  14. the amp that the original rca's from the indash are hooked up to is the master i believe.
  15. so r they dual 2 ohms or dual 4 ohms?
  16. ok sri i just re-read ur top post. what do u mean it doesnt sound right? doesnt hit the lows well? doesnt hit the highs well? doesnt hit anything well? i would try adjusting ur settings on ur amps first, and make sure they are set the same. if that doesnt work, try wiring 1 sub per amp.
  17. y not run 1 amp to 1 sub? what is the impedance of the subs?
  18. really, ur decibles are gonna be alot of install dependant. from what my 18 did, the qs really really bang out the lows, but the bls would probably do the same, if u tune it right. i would go with the bls honestly, to save on space, and im guessing they would b about the same volume.
  19. damn thats a nice box...i wish i could design something like that.
  20. do u know anybody around there with a term lab?
  21. id try to get one around 200 amps just to be on the safe side, and also invest in a few batteries.
  22. holy shit, im using that much on my sub lol
