Verizon will be requiring that you switch to a tiered plan if you plan on buying a device at the subsidized price. If you buy phones at full retail you can continue to keep your plan. For the global usage, you should be able to get on of the phones and switch out the SIM card and use a pre-pay plan or something while in the other countries. That should allow you to not use a Verizon global plan. I'm just guessing on that though. No, I have global unlimited. If they try that switch we are changing companies.... The problem with the SIM card switch is the phone number will no longer answer. Personally I like the unlimited data plan as I can use my phone as a hotspot for my pc/tablet and pretty much get anything done I need. Voice quality over skype that was isn't so good, but if it were 4g I'd bet it'd be fine. Do they have a date when they won't do that? They told me last week we are grandfathered...

Yep. Masimoto Honkasumi Yaginaba in 30cm. Almost bought the 33cm but I don't ever have really huge fish or roasts to rip through. Hopefully I won't regret not getting the extra inch. Stupid Yen/$ sucks serious ass at the moment so I went with the dual blue steel carbon steel knife (Quality 3 as they say), but the Q1's were over $1000 and for how often it'll get used I am not interested in that amount of dough. Picked up a fish tweezers and a $40 set of cooking chopsticks made from hardened steel and sharpened as well

You won't. The w6 is a helluva SQ style driver. Sound quality is EASY to do with a sub and SUPER hard to get midbass. This is where almost all systems fail. Without midbass it's pointless to have a sub if your goal is truly SQ. As for not noticing, perhaps you should feel blessed as it will help you keep your wallet.

Kicker's don't sound horrible, people generally build shitty boxes for the Kickers. The W6 is a great sub, one of my favorites but output is not it's forte. The Icon is also a stellar driver and you state you are noticing a difference which means its rather substantial. The human ear is not good at discerning differences between output when separated by so long.
