Please Be Aware People
I didn't watch either clip. Real simple. If you can't eloquently explain your point without some abstract reference and video then you need to rethink your position. The simple mind isn't the one that isn't aware, but the one that blindly accepts propaganda as fact without pondering it well enough to understand. Amusingly you left out the more important "big brother" behavior, but that's because most of it is done by marketing and not by the government. Expect that to grow exponentially in years to come. The side benefit is if it works you will no longer have to sit through commercials for things you aren't interested in, but get ready to try and sort because you'll be bombarded with ones where you fit the market demographic perfectly.

And most of those dumbasses leave 5dB on the table where they'd actually want it if they truly understood what "low" was instead of just reciting internet garbage.

Well then. I'm either tuning very low (assuming I can get the port length) or going sealed. Going to look something like this: May just do sealed since the port length might be a complete bitch to try and fit (say 20hz tuning), plus 18" driver will have tons of output for me (at this time ) In car that tuning buys you nothing over sealed. At some point cabin gain builds up the bottom of the sealed such that with no "peak" in the ported in that range you get no gain. At 20 Hz, you will successfully manage to have your enclosure be way larger, more complicated, might even end up with a nasty port resonance (which Ram Designs I guess calls a T-line), and have no extra output and just extra complexity. Also remember when you are looking at "flat" that you can easily eq out peaks if they are within reason and that your ears sensitivity and capability of resolve in that frequency range is multiple dB's so some peak/non-flat response is more than fine. If you don't need the extra couple dB boost then by all means ported isn't a benefit.

Power Handling vs Box Size
Only YOU can blow your drivers. They will only try to do what you tell them to. That being said, you should optimize your install and not do something so you CAN run more power than necessary. Just a waste of money.

In fact, I'm thoroughly confused by it. Perhaps the confusion was the point of the AMG in the first place. You and I obviously do not drive in similar fashions

Guys a marketing genius. I'll pin two topics, delete one and lock the other. Wonder what his third move will be.

That would be a positive he could have brought up, since he hasn't don't cross your fingers. There is no big deal. Everyone here could care less if its EXACTLY the same as X. In my case, I don't even care what X is. The question being asked is why these instead of X or anything else for that matter. As for the "basis for a design" comment, that is only the case for internet based companies and exactly why I am interested here. Kevin hasn't shown he understands T/S parameters which makes the sub design process dubious and if you think amps are easy compared to subs then its time for a math review. That being said, it doesn't mean he couldn't have defined a logical niche that'll have some positive value. I realize you are getting "paid" for your comments, but even still you have to have a better understanding of how the world works already...

So guy comes on internet, posts items for sale. I ask for features and reasons why I should be interested in those items and its disrespectful? The mess that followed the lack of answers isn't my doing. My question is really very simple. What about the amplifiers makes them something I or someone else on the board would want to own.

The first being dubious based on history The second being ridiculous, but I do realize it happens. Boner buys IMO are dumb. The third we'd like to hear something about. I can sit here all day and tell you about them, but you won't be satisfied about what makes them quality amplifiers until I post clamp results, so why don't you just wait till then and let the numbers speak for themselves. Actually the clamp test is also useless, what is important is what is the differentiator of these if you are stating they are so great. Pretty simple actually, all I am asking is what your market position is on the amps. Really straightforward marketing 101 stuff. Again, all I want to hear about is the product. Nothing else.

Far from nothing, but if you fail to see that then that can be your personal opinion. Then what are the differentiators?

So the answer was nothing. Makes sense I suppose. Why would people choose to buy your version of this amp then?
