check out tomshardware.com, i really like the posting format they use . essentially use their "form" and someone will help you pick the best parts to fit your needs. plent of how-to guides, aswell. Beware their tests though, they were ultra biased for the wrong reasons years ago but of course that may have changed.

Takes about 20 minutes at most + sw install and even that I can usually do in an hour.

If you don't already have software it'll add to the bitch factor
  10. First step: Measure your trunk and determine your actual space. Second step: Discuss what subs will fit. And NO, you cannot do it in a different order as it will just be a waste of time.

Mine usually involves putting 40lbs of food in a pack, my sleeping bag and tent, grabbing a canoe, and paddling/portaging 10 lakes from ANY motorized vehicle and getting away from people in general. Regrettably we need tents here with bugscreens, lol.

My eleventh Winner for most creative answer format. =) Still wrong but A for effort. If you knew me better, you'd know it isn't wrong.
  13. You mean a bandpass, not just a 4th order. Either way, don't listen to anyone with a rule of thumb as it will only give you results that are worse than with a simple 4th order ported.

I wasn't able to find anything with that info. That email isn't linked to the account you posted. Just to test I made an account and searched my email address and the account I linked it to came right up. Could still be the same guy, but he's not using the email in question. Thanks for looking into it

Do you know the email you're looking for? I think you can search users by email so if you know the scamers email you could search it and see if its linked to the account that you asked about. Tracing it from the stream might be possible, but they encrypt that information so it wouldn't be easy. I did a quick search and didn't find any kind of workaround Guy says he is Eli Heitmann, [email protected], claims to have this phone number (65one)-2one2-7897, but is currently out of town on business. No scam has been offered yet but whenever something is for sale and major and not around I find it "funny" I can take a look when I get off work. Can't do much with this dinasour. Shouldn't be looking at a Malibu anyway........Mastercraft FTW Its a scam. Curious why you'd lean on a MC. I have a 24' slip which I can't exceed, meaning I need a 23' hull. Goal is a cruiser with the most people space possible which leads to a WB boat. Cheaper is better, but to me cheap is buying price - selling price and I will own it for 3-4 years.

Anyone know how to trace what email or person started this photobucket album? http://s1143.photobucket.com/albums/n632/My06Malibu/ Not for malicious reasons, but want to keep someone from getting scammed potentially....

Wtf would you have a for sale add and NOT have VM or answer your phone??

Top o' the morning to you all.
  22. Well the goal is to see what load my amp is seeing.. And then what?
  23. What difference would that make? Have you heard of the law of diminishing returns? Always better to tune for the desired response based on each specific woofers specifications, blindly offering anything else isn't a good idea.
  24. site states about 85w RMS.... Sorry didnt look before I typed. Even still, that spec is horribly meaningless. It will have nothing to do with how loud they get, nor does it help you pick out an amp for them. Power handling specifications on mids are completely deceiving without stating what enclosure size and what frequency. You could spec it any way you want otherwise. Then of course even more useless when you realize that on the same drivers you won't hear a difference between 85w and 100w anyways the spec obviously does nothing but confuse the situation.
