MB Quart or Sundown???
The people who don't like JL in general around here have no experience with them either I'd step up to the Sundown in this case though as well. You may also want to bridge that 300/4 and go back to passive with that set. If you had the 9887 and had true crossovers I wouldn't say that, but I'd expect the passive integration to be better than active on an amplifier. And is more headroom which will be of benefit.

Help picking a sub(s)
The L7 should have had no problems with that either, that was a box problem That being said, any of the subs that have been referenced in this thread will do what you describe so far *assuming a good enclosure*. One little comment on the Skar's, nothing against the driver, but the owner has proved himself to be rather shady in his business practices so personally I wouldn't do any business with them.

I also don't know who Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane and other idiotic bass line bands are.

So the Anthole bought CACO? At least he fits in there.

Truthfully I have no idea who that is. Heard the name, but only because of car audio forums.

More detail in general. What does it do you like, what doesn't it do you'd like to improve, how is it on.... etc.

Interesting. To me the bug comes from having to listen to some shit that sounds like ass. No bug if that isn't there. A solid year of nothing but shitty 20 dollar Panasonic cans and 2006 Ford Explorer stock stereo's have me craving good LOUD music. Granted in a car our versions of 'good' are very different. VERY. J I bet our music tastes don't line up either I listen to a WIDE variety of music. From Pink Floyd to Metallica to Atmosphere to classical. No opera or gospel. I listen to a wide variety of music as well, but their is a common denominator. Everything I listen to is music based on musicians with chops on their instruments. No trendy BS, catchy throw aways or any of that shit. If I listen to it the player has spent hours a day for years practicing. Of course that means it is a lot of jam oriented music like Jazz, but there are some categories of Rock where this still fits.

Need some help!!
Do you have a vid of your setup?? I want to see those 8" woofers in action. And you have the super tweeter with those. That's a nice idea. Not a nice idea. The B&C he linked is a great driver, but I'd at least match it with a tweeter that was listenable. Super tweeters and cars never really make sense. If you need more output step up to a horn.

California Earthquake?
That guy sounds like a quack, but it isn't hard to predict that this might be coming. If I were a betting man and wanted to predict a Cali quake now would be a time. Even if it didn't happen the odds are better than they will be in some generic time in the future.

Help picking a sub(s)
What do you mean? Crisp is not a term that I can read and understand what your definition is. Please also let us know what the enclosure specs are that you currently have it in. Pretty impossible to tell you how to improve anything without knowing what it is you like and what you have.

Source Unit with Time Alignment
The 800 has an all copper chassis while the 880 has a normal one. Which can help a lot with noise. Never seen that as even close to necessary or an upgrade worth paying for.

SQ setup in Ford Ranger
"perform" is a strange term. You requested an SQ setup which by default means you hardly need a sub. Almost anything will do, the box is WAY more important. I'd still prefer to see you buy from someone other than Kevin.

Welcome to the IHoP
Thanks, found that. When I read it first it stated what you did but that Bq & Sv were equivalent. I took that to mean in levels as well.

SQ setup in Ford Ranger
So one sub would be better than two? Have you heard if Cadence is a good brand for component speakers? Also, what about Skar subs; are they any good? In your budget 1 >> 2, on top of that think of the space you have. Crazy to force fit something when you aren't at the right price point. Skar subs are fine, but the owner of the company may not be. I am sure I wouldn't do business with him. Cadence? That is personal preference, I'd go listen to some if I were you.

tl near nowhere, ND?
If no one responds it would help to know what your goals in using it are as maybe there are approximations that can help with some of them.

Welcome to the IHoP
last I heard it was 821 mrem/hr at the site boundary; considering that anything about background levels at the site boundary is usually a cause for alarm, its quite troubling. Even my father, with 20+ in the industry, said "holy shit!" when he heard the radiation levels http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_equivalent_dose Wow, twice that of Brazil nuts. Whoop de fucking do. Nice job with the media there. I don't follow? I had a conversion problem and read that Bq = Sv approximately. Not a nuclear physicist by any means.

Source Unit with Time Alignment
For the price difference I would consider the differences cosmetic only. I konw that isn't the case, but in practice it is.
