Lanzar amps?
So am I more likely to get 300 RMS out of one of those for $100 as opposed to the lanzar that's rated @ 800 watts for $60? I mean even if the lanzar only did half of what it's rated.. that's still more than what those others are putting out @ 2 ohms, and almost half the price.. so what's the deal? Stop reading Ebay specs. They could very well state 8000w as it isn't a tested specification NOR is it RMS. No way in hell that amp does anywhere near that power NOT EVEN CLOSE. Everything else is more important.

opinions on putting coax and comps in front
Yes, dumb. If you are already capable of running active why bother with a comp set even? Pick your drivers to fill your needs and it will work out way better. Having any two drivers play the same vocal frequency range is rarely an effective solution.

It won't be as loud and is into the realm of diminishing returns.

Benefit is pretty non-existent, but of course you didn't state any goals so applying anything to your specific install is impossible for us.

Where the fuck do you live that people jump at "gunfire" sounds but you need barbwire around your property.- Welcome to the IHoP
Frustrating year for football.- 2007 hyundai elantra
Bad assumption. Some LOC's are better than some headunits and of course no one has asked, perhaps her headunit already has flat outs. Doubt it, but possible depending on what stereo it has. i know nothing of who oe's the Hyundai stuff though so it maybe strange.- Want to make sure... Icon 12"
I hope it isn't made of thin particle board, if so you should make a new one.- Welcome to the IHoP
Insurance as well. Or course that goes back to repair prices. Yep, my M5 was less than $300/yr. Really well covered also. I am sure my next car won't be so nice to me though.- Welcome to the IHoP
Me too.. went to my first Sigma Phi party... Preeeety epic 3-4 kegs jello shots, jaegerbombs, and lots... and lots and lots of sexy girls. Grabba-thigh parties ALWAYS need someone to really spike their punch. Then they get better.- Welcome to the IHoP
Ah, the E38 nor the Z8 are particularly normal BM'ers for parts. Not surprised any longer.- Welcome to the IHoP
Flat or slotted. Drilled for that car would be an exercise in buying something poorly engineered. Flat should be fine. A liter should cover you unless that car has an unnecessarily large amount for the ABS or clutch.- Welcome to the IHoP
Amazing how much more expensive Merc parts are than BM'er ones though.- Welcome to the IHoP
Do you drive aggressive? *assumes yes* Axxis Deluxe pads are sweet. Hardly any dust, good stopping performance and street use doesn't make them noisy. Not to mention 250 a set...yeeeesh got to pay to play, I spose $54 for the M5, but still only $109 for the W210 $250 is retarded Yeah disregard that, that was MSRP; where are you getting your prices from? If you just do normal driving, go to AutoZone and buy some Duralast Golds. They're made by Satisfied and are actually very good pads. I use them on my daily drivers. Had those on my 328i and switched to the Axxis. In the BM'er world they are about the same price and I'd take the Axxis pads anyday. Perfect compromise for the street and didn't make a mess. Standard OE BMW pads REALLY make dust though and most of the replacements do as well. That being said I wouldn't spend a bunch extra on them- Welcome to the IHoP

Just buy the damn car or buy a brand new M5 and quit bitching about what to buy. Win! Let me know when you get it too, I am driving up ASAP to fuck your car. In Soviet MN, my car fucks you.- Welcome to the IHoP
Just buy the damn car or buy a brand new M5 and quit bitching about what to buy. With luxury tax and everything else it will be over $300k and I pretty much doubt it'll be an M5 now, something about having to deal with two car seats that fucks that idea up- Welcome to the IHoP
