Had a hard time waking up. Legs are sore today as well. The 8 Summit's last night probably didn't help.
  2. Huh? Whose kool-aid are you drinking? Absolutely NO reason whatsoever to "keep them the same". In fact you should only have one pair anyways as the rest just confuse the stage. That pair should most definitely be up front. Of couse it made a difference, you went from crap to not as crap. Either way, you should ALWAYS spend your whole budget on the fronts. It will make a bigger difference than splitting it up. As stated already definitely go and listen and let your ears decide. Buying speakers that you haven't heard on the net is like buying a pair of shoes over the internet and not knowing what size they are before you get them. Not so likely they will be right for you.
  3. We gotta give it a chance before we throw it's integrity out the window. Maybe they went above and beyond? Who knows. The low price scares me for that amount of power out of a single board though. Fire extinguishers are nice! Maybe they didn't...no, of course they didn't. Going to be another "look how many corners" we cut AQ product that will have a forum boner and convince noobs the brand is worthwhile.

Dumb, funny, retarded, either way I am amused.

Spreading like VD. I'm not clapping.
  7. That will be a nice combo. Have some XT19's and CA18's myself. Both will be a good first active setup too as they will not have a lot of anomalies to deal with either.

I've been here less than 2x as long as you and have 6x the posts. Definitely slacking.

Cut off their wanker if they do it twice. Not sure what the equivalent would be for women, but whatever the point holds.

Actually I think she looks like a Solara. How the leaders have fallen, copying the Japanese will get you nowhere.

You like my "humane" method For what ever reason the man holds me down won't let me fire off the 7mm mag on the squirelles. I think that instant liquification would be the most humane. You did notice the quotes, no?

Hopefully you don't have to teach them everything then.
  16. When tuning, turn your sub off In fact, I'd tune the mids on their own first. Then the midbass on their own. This will help you find some limitations, then you can deal with blending them. Don't forget to try all variations of phase as well.

  18. Sorry, been gone for the weekend and busy. I had never seen the double mag version of the XT25, interesting. Nice tweeter, doesn't do well super off axis though. As for the 8" Dayton, it has a rough resonance that won't make it easy to integrate the first time around. I'd recommend something a bit more tame. The Eminence is a pro audio driver and won't have any midbass, not a good 2 way solution...or solution in general IMO. Interesting start though. An easy to integrate 8 would be something along the lines of a CA22RNX from Seas. Spend a little time on Zaph's site reading his opinions about 8's and then look for some with a smooth response like the Seas. Other options exist, if you get stuck holler

  20. All you did was prove you can't hear distortion. Either way you REALLY shouldn't use your eq for boost, just cut. The purpose of it is to fix anomalies and 99% of the time that means cutting them out.
  21. You can, but IMO it is never anywhere near as easy to dial things in if you can't change them from the drivers seat.

What happened ? In short I've basically spoon fed my supervisor for her job. I applied and was looked over even though I had more experience. In buisness I understand keeping your friends close, but it's really costing our department money with how much waste is going on. I onboarded here so I wouldn't have to take work home and could just come in, work, then go home. Now I feel I'm taking work stresss home, not getting compensated for the aditional stress, and watching some not so good people get credit for my ideas. I wouldn't mind one bit of any of those things if I felt that it was appreciated. My philosophy is always to work hard enough to get my boss promoted and then move myself up if I want. Here I feel as if I'm punished for being good at my job, and I don't really get thanks for the extra work put in. That sucks Matt.
  24. SWEET! How is the tuning coming along?
