  1. You are gonna feel it in your pants.
  2. As an aside, get those things off axis more. Perhaps even shooting at each other. Focal's are WAY too bright to be aimed like that
  3. Okay, now we are getting there. What are your current crossover settings? Any EQ applied and if so how much and where?
  4. Basically they are nothing like the Adire LCR's actually. Baffle width, orientation, spacing, and crossovers along with the drivers would all have to be the same for it to be basically Adire LCR's. Cosmetically the baffle looks nice.
  5. So you won't be using it. Not knowing where it is in the signal path, just set it to the 20Hz end and it won't matter what it does

You didn't ask but, when going out pedaling something that can really help you recover FAST is drinking something like "Endurox R4". I used to mountain bike for several hours at a time, and it made a HUGE difference in recovery time by getting in the nutrients right after a long cycle session. I was pretty prone to cramping though, so YMMV. For me and the guys I pedaled with it was night and day. I like a 2:1 sugar:protein a bit more, but what ever works. Most bikers love endurox. I used to buy powdered bulk aminos, powder cross filter, ionized mega broken down whey and dextrose and mix my own drink for pedaling. Always added in vitamin C and then a banana later. After a while I got really lazy though and would mix OJ and yogurt. Ot a banana and protein powder + water. Anyway to get sugar, vitamin C and potasium, and simple sugar ASAP. I think the home brew worked the best but it would always make me insanely hungry(I desired that effect at the time though). With the other 2 options I felt I got the same results, but the smoothy made me have less appetite. Vitamin C, potasium, and sugar is the real key. The protein was really good too but not as important. All good info, What do you eat/drink before cycling? I didn't ask, but need the info.
  7. You can't hear below 20Hz so if you filter out all those frequencies it will pass everything audible. IE it will make no difference and is just like having a loop for the cables to go through.
  8. You should deaden first, adjust your aiming, connect them active and then describe what you don't like so we can give specific recommendations. Less harsh than Focal is easy, I can hardly think of a tweeter that is more harsh More midbass is also easy. Deaden first, then cone area if possible. Again understanding your real limitations will help narrow this down.

  10. I like mine with coke as well; however, just a splash. 3oz Crown, ice, squeeze of a lemon, and a "push" on the trigger for coke ~ 1oz. Yum.
  11. This winter was effing brutal on the MN roads.
  12. 20 is almost an all pass. For your ears, it is.

Not sure if I posted them here, but I meant to... This is my new Trek 1.2 Super fun bike Hitting 30 mph on flat land on a bicycle is sweet! Also got this bike for free this weekend! It's a ton of fun just to put around the yard at my home in Baytown considering the roads aren't as great. I also have a run/ride coming up that I needed a mountain bike for and I think this will do the trick. When did you pick up the 1.2?

Not looked in forever. I am a huge fan of buying an enclosure and the drive separately. Short term it may not be quite as cost effective (used to be cheaper), but long term when you upgrade it will. A 1TB and an enclosure should do well. I need a new pair of drives as well, so perhaps I'll look within a few days.

Yes. Was way more sore last night. Tired though. My body needed some repair rest. Perhaps drinking a bottle of wine wasn't the best idea last night, but damnit I deserved it

I am a bit sore today. Managed a 28mi jaunt yesterday. I have just matched my motorcycling numbers for the past three years in 8 days of pedalling.
  18. Crap, there are tons of things that are better. Better than the HAT as well.
  19. And more importantly had you spent a second more on your request you'd have gotten a more thorough answer. Spend some time thinking about how your question will help not only you but others reading your thread and it will become much easier to get the help you seek.
  20. And that isn't a statement you should be proud of. SO MANY more cars I'd buy for $16k.

Seagate still makes great Enterprise drives...but as with all the drive companies they all have sweet spots in their line up for storage & reliability.

Enterprise drives are always a good solution for reliability.
