BTL on order, What size bolts?
I would always prefer threaded inserts over t-nuts. McMaster-Carr

Head Unit for SPL application
There are a long list of discontinued units that will work. Anything else your 9887 doesn't do that you need?

Head Unit for SPL application
I don't understand either of those two statements. What do you mean by fades easily? Also since you "know" the 99RS is the best bet, what about it do you know makes it so? Let me rephrase it. The Alpine 9887 buttons fades easily after a few months of use so I'm not considering alpine as my next head unit. For the DEX-99rs the tuning capability. and 4 way active capability. Getting closer. Do you need the active capability and if so, how much of it?

Twin Towers BUILD LOG
Did what? Built a box that can't do anymore than one that wouldn't take up the whole room? stop posting in my thread The problem is the way you wrote this someone could read it that doesn't know any better and think it is a good idea, so it needs to be clarified

low notes send amp into protect
And 37 isn't so different, perhaps for the OP even better. I really don't understand the fascination of the recommendations of low tunes. Sure they have a purpose and out of all the people commenting in this thread they would serve a purpose to me the most; however, there just isn't so much stuff in music that low and considering most drivers are built to be tuned higher regularly that makes sense. Modelling software makes things worse as people have no idea what the curve means or how effective cabin gain is. Last ported box I built was tuned higher than 37Hz, albeit for a reason, and no this was a box for my sister not for me personally. My design though.

Expert advice please
You are tuning too low, as for which one is right I can't be sure without doing the same calculation. That is quite the difference though so I assume you have changed something. In general I don't trust BBP at all but do WinISD; however, both are terrible at recommending enclosures. That you should play with on your own, but WinISD at least easily shows you excursion and the effect of your box.

DD 9518 daily driver?
That will depend on how you build the box, what signal you burp, and of course how you adjust the signal path. Can it take that for a burp, sure, probably way more again depending on the above.

Fi Q vs. Fi BL
Of course, subs should NEVER play midrange. Either your terms are really confused or your description is, more clarification is in order. The hardest thing to make up for is a shrinking enclosure. Less space and the same output isn't trivial.

Are the Flatlynes for me?
Spot on. The only caveat I'd add is that clipping will of course cause the energy to go up making it even easier to overheat. There is no reason you should be made at IA, but 100% at yourself. You did two things wrong here. First you didn't buy a sub meant for output, for some reason you misconceived the idea of SQ and applied your definition incorrectly to a driver. Second, you threw way too much power at them. This isn't the subs fault and had you actually truly been interested in fidelity you easily would have heard it struggling and automatically turned it down. The case is obviously you wanted more output and kept getting happy with the volume knob, add that the 6dB of gain you threw at it and I am surprised the 2nd one made it as long as it did.

I think there must be some communication issue on the design. Have you checked for status?

What are you deep frying yours in? Since I am asking, curious as to how you "tandoor" your chicken as well.

tikka masala is classic and real indian food. There just are as many variations to is as there are for any single dish we have that is American x10. I can't say that I've eaten General Tso's in at least 10 years so I have no idea what it tastes like. The local three chinese places I eat at surely don't have it on the menu.

Got my 12" BTL and My BOlts and Tee nuts, But the Bolts dont fit..
Perhaps not if you do it perfect. Don't muck up the surround in the process, make sure you collect ALL the metal filings, and be really careful. Hell, what I am saying. I think its completely stupid. Just spend the .08 each and buy new bolts. Get threaded inserts instead of t-nuts as well while you are at it. Absolutely no need for anything so large. Sort of like running 8ga wire to your sub. Overkill for all the wrong reasons.

Under Seat Subwoofer Enclosure
The real question here is how much space do you actually have.

low notes send amp into protect
2/3 the way up is NOT a valid gain setting. I bet you are trying to make that poor amp output way more than it can. Highly doubtful that it can come anywhere close to the 500w you spec as well.
