If my crossover isn't capable of running an active setup, then i need to replace it before i worry about going active. And how could the passive crossover be better than going active? I don't see any logic in that. The first shot at setting up your stuff active I'd surely bet it will sound worse than the passive crossovers. If you have patience and really spend the time tuning, completely different story. I personally have heard nothing good come out of an Imprint install and I don't see a way around that with the H100. The manual sucks though so not really sure.

I am still dubious on the space you have. I'd suggest double measuring and really figuring it out exactly INCLUDING depth restrictions on the drivers before deciding.

Not terribly hard to fit an 8 in there. Going to need kicks or some fab work up top for the mid/tweet.

Either way it is your choice, but you get to pick the compromise. ur right, it was only four miles per gallon...do u think the output loss would be noticable? Lol. If that is truly the case, which I doubt, it isn't because of the weight. Unless of course your system for some ungodly reason is ridiculous in weight. Considering you will find ZERO difference in mpg switching from an 18 to a 15 and changing your enclosure.

We put it on a wire rack over tinfoil in a cookie sheet. It was good, but spattered a bit inside the oven. Deeper pan. Make sure there is no water or as little as possible on the bacon. Plus doesn't your oven self clean?
