Starting to plan my Sound Stage.
I don't quite understand. You have a 2way+sub crossover in the Alpine unit and then refer to using the XS's crossover. Which are you planning to do? The XS crossover flexibility is a huge joke compared to the active capability of the H100; however, you reference a 3 way above and it isn't capable of doing a 3 way so again I am not sure what you are leaning towards. As for mounting locations. Giving us your options would help. It sounds like that you have door pods and potentially can do A pillar mounts, but some more detail and even pictures would be really helpful.

Has this website been running slower lately???
The IHOP runs slow but the rest of the threads are pretty fast. I'd do what Aaron recommends and clean everything out. Perhaps even try a different browser.

I agree the challenge is all in the install and that is the part you need to focus on first. Mounting locations might make some drivers not so user friendly and others fit right in. Knowing where you can put things and what level of install effort you are willing to put in will really help us narrow down the driver selection. Without this information I wouldn't even think of selecting drivers

Welcome to the IHoP
sounds awesome! are you literally going to leave from the house on your sled? lol I am trailering to my buddies house, but partly just because my sled is on the trailer the other reason is of course it would be an extra 60 miles on the sled and about 25 to drive as the city is in the way. So you could drive the sled on the road or what? If so I need to move to MN Southern ATV = Northern Sled ??? Outside of Minneapolis, St Cloud, and Moorhead you can pretty much drive through any city with some other minor exceptions and re-routes of course. Add 22,000miles of groomed trails and you can get anywhere in the state.

MDF with hardboard backer as a quick make it yourself fence is what I used for years. Bought the Eurekazone stuff to cut some expensive hardwood that I needed to insure accuracy on. Should have just bought the table saw first

Eurekazone is way cheaper and nearly as nice. Still a pain in the ass compared to a table saw though. I have the Eureka's if you want to see them.

i didnt think you went out to eat homemade pizza is a PITA to make, especially if you've got a really good pizzeria nearby I make pizza's all the time. Just throw some shit in the mixer. Pull it out, let it rise for a couple hours and wham, pizza. To get things hot enough, I do them on the grill. My pizza stone is a 1" hunk of slate I paid a buck or two for at home depot. I make red sauce about 1x a year and a huge vat of it and freeze it in portions to make 4 pizzas. I also use it as a base for spaghetti and other red sauces.

most effective use of Luxury Liner Pro?
Close. Damper doesn't work by mass loading though. Instead it works by constraining motion. CCF is not a noise blocker, not at all. Just an isolation layer and it can help with two surfaces that rub each other. MLV is MASS loaded vinyl. It is a blocker. In order to block noise you need mass. MLV is the cheaper version of lead sheeting which works better, but is cost prohibitive. As for jute. It is an absorber, won't help so much in blocking outside noise but does do some absorption. Cotton wadding is what I would prefer for this.

And of course anytime there is a customer service problem, it stems from a product problem. Amusingly that gets overshadowed due to the fact that Ben is such a complete douche.

I am uncomfortable letting anyone from the outside world anywhere near my network. Love the cause, but not the security loophole. I am sure it is secure, I just don't like big brother in any aspect and the possibility of it not being secure has me insecure.

you won't miss the AMG power as much as you will miss the AMG seats. =) It's a great car though. Is it the one a BMW off 494? Went to Sears. E550 AWD. The power was fine, car was sort of boring to drive compared to the 550i but I expected that. The advantage for me is not spending an extra $50/mo on snow tires and rims as it is AWD. I don't think I can do it though, I much prefer the interior in the BMW's and the 550i just drives more my style. I do think from the experience though that an E63 would more than satisfy me. Have to get the truck up for sale and then see which will fit the lease right and start to work on getting one.
