Sound Bar vs. Bose 3-2-1
Spending some time hiding wires may be a solution.

ground noise
Double check your grounds but also let us know: Does the problem exist with the rca's unplugged from the amp? How about just unplugged from the head? Different RCA's solve the problem?

I do 90% of all cooking at my house. I'm trying to get Sean to learn. Maybe it will help him get his dick wet later in life. Maybe? More like abso-fucking-lutely.

http://www.wooferset...nent-System.htm http://www.wooferset...nent-System.htm The 6x9's are supposed to kick ass, not much talk about the 5x7's however. Exactly why I said no 5x7 atm, those 6x9's are more than fine but not worth the price IMO. More than decent though

Welcome to the IHoP
Wow dude...............first time I seen you say anything venting concerning here. Just remember alot of women forget how much people eat. Mine's a cook for fucks sake and she forgets all the damn time I just didn't want to take it out on her. Wouldn't help and I am pretty quick with the snide comments. Not necessary this time of year. I should realize that I have to do everything related to food, but she always wants to. Don't want to step on the enthusiasm, but want shit done right. And yep, right has a slim window with me which you already all know.

Buy from SSD not dynamat, cheaper and better Link in my sig. Those MB's could be fine if you like the way they sound. I wouldn't buy them without listening to a set first though. Not my cup of tea.

Feel free to get an older version, the concepts are the same. That will save you some dough. Once you understand Vance's work you'll be golden.

Welcome to the IHoP
Pissed. My wife went to the store instead of me. Simple list. She forgot some of it at the store so I had to run back and pick up the veggies. She didn't tell me that the broccoli was for dinner so I didn't make it. I sent her for stuff to make two olive tapenades, a triple cream and a brie cheese, and some shrimp. This is for Christmas at her families house. I requested the 41-50 ct shrimp as there are 49 of us that will be eating. She brought back one pound. WTF. It was hardly worth cooking. While she was gone I made about a pound of cocktail sauce. I want to go make her feel bad about it, but that gets none of us anywhere so you guys get to hear my rant. Oh, half the olives I needed to. She has obviously no fucking idea how much people eat, amusing since she is one of 11 and used to be the one that cooked for them.

I need to have some PC layouts of my house done. They'd be sweet for the HA system as any idiot could then visualize where the lights were. *wonders if I could do this in 3D

I have a cure for that disease. Come visit and sit in my truck. (and it's a lazy install in the factory locations install with budget drivers...but with some thought and decent structure)

They will ALL still break up the differing cone technologies just raise the frequency that this break up occurs. Technology also exists to dampen these resonances if the manufacturer wants to spend the R&D dollars to do so.

As I said earlier in your thread: Those 5x7's are crap. You don't want them. It has NOTHING to do with oval or round and EVERYTHING to do with the fact that no one engineers a decent oval speaker these days. *exceptions always, but I don't know of any 5x7's atm Buy some 6.5" components otherwise you will be right back where you started. But don't oval speakers have uneven stress on the cone, which can cause breakup earlier on the power scale than in a similar round-coned speaker? Not stress. They will have different mode shapes as they are shaped differently and will have different polar responses, but there isn't an intrinsic failure with the oval shape. In practice this isn't the case as engineering seems to be rather lax on these speakers. Probably because no one serious uses them, just those too lazy to install something the right way. If you are too lazy to do anything but use stock mounting then so be it, no reason to engineer anything worth a shit then anyways.

I'd prefer if my "princess" had Playmate products

Running Active with a 100.4
That won't sound good and yes you'd need a different headunit or amps that can take care of the crossover for you. Just "picking" frequencies isn't enough to bother.

Is that an I-6 engine turned? VR-6. Not inline and not quite V-6. Angle between cylinders is 15deg. I know the US VR-6's were 60 degrees. But the way the intake runners looked and no seeing any valve covers, it appeared like it was a straight 6 lying on its side. Not really. The VR6 debut was in the Corrado and was definitely 15 degrees.

Pioneer Headunits
I personally would never pay for compressed music, but that isn't because of my car. I'd seriously bet that if you compared 192 and 320 in your car you couldn't tell the difference. Now there are a bunch of albums released recently with REALLY shitty production causing them to sound like ass no matter what you do. That I really don't understand as decent A/D's are really cheap these days. Bummer, but nothing I can do about it. Luckily for me it is mostly in popular music which I don't listen to anyways.

"Hitting" doesn't sound like a ground issue. You need to give us a better description of exactly what "sounds like crap"

Welcome to the IHoP
It'll help next year, and I get more of a percentage next year but a chunk is withheld until the end of the year and considering we always start slow I won't see the money in a chunk anymore but paid slowly out or in a lump at the end of next year.

Welcome to the IHoP
I guess the convenient part is that I get a higher rate next year, but damnit I wanted the money now and not in Dec 2010

Did you use a fresh ground for your headunit? What brand of h/u? Did you try different RCA's?
