who all has been scorned or belittled by ///M5?
It's actually really, really simple. If you try to make a post that makes sense and really express your needs and opinions you will get a helpful answer. If you put no time or energy into your thought and blatantly disregard the terms & conditions of the site I will use just as much time in my response as you did in your initial thought. If the response is to whine then what is there to respect? If you don't try you don't deserve help. Remember this is a forum which means that EVERY thread should be there not only to help the OP, but ANYONE who searches and finds it. Simple forum etiquette gets you along way and if you don't understand that you have no place starting an argument over it either. As for being mean or belittling perhaps you should look at it the other way. A stupid post, misinformation, or not following standard forum procedures is a huge slap in our face basically as a poster you are saying FUCK you I don't give a shit about your rules or desires but answer my damn question. I agree an appropriate response would be to be more patient, but that will only further promote that style of behavior on the site and it is nothing that any of us want. I've got a deal for you. You guarantee that no more stupid threads or dumb posts get made and I'll be nice all the time. If not, then respect stays a two way street. If we (and the board) aren't respected don't expect me to respect the bitch who can't at least show us the respect. Really, really simple.

3 Way Component speakers - witch do you prefer?
Take a step back. IMO passive three ways are not worth buying, unless the passives were designed in the mounting locations in your car. Louder maybe, maybe not. Clearer maybe, maybe not. Higher RMS rating means jack shit other than they take more power which has very minimal to do with output. You really need to state your goals and not ask a question without details. The noob posting guidelines in my sig will help you make an effective thread.

Welcome to the IHoP
Just labels based on post count and time as a member. Oh i meant, like could you name them all. Could you just pm it to me? Finding it in the 'Hop on my Wii is gonna be a biznitch (point and click is only fun for so long). And what exactly are you going to do with that information that is so important it should be pm'd to you?

Welcome to the IHoP
My pleasure. And on that note, goodnight.

And this is where you get a day off. You can't post anymore tonight and if you act like a sorry little bitch again it will be a lot longer.

You need to replace the exclamation points with one question mark. Then perhaps that would make sense.

Ooookkkkk...sorry about that. I just get a little excited when we play the patsies. I'll keep my NFL interests off the board in the future. No no no no. NFL discussion is great. What Adrian is talking about is that in the iHop we have a courtesy rule. That is, if you go on a multiple page spam or whoring discussion (near chat rate), just page mark the start and end of it. That means when it is done, roll back to the beginning of it and state something along the lines of: Skip to page XXXXXXX to by-pass whoring / blah blah chat / sports smack talk etc. and at the end state the page it began on. It is just a nice move to fellow iHop'er (yes, that is a noun because I said so ), to save time because so many of us read every page. That is all Adrian is getting at. You can spam it up, whore to your hearts content in the iHop, that is the reason we started it. But just be polite and inform the others where you started and stopped. Vladd is a good example on a few of his massive iHop whoring runs. i understand this thought process..... have not been a big user of the ihop and have not seen this example carried out before to consider the mentioned procedure... it makes god sense though, i will attempt to do that next week when we beat the Ravens. but is whoring really a issue in here, i have seen you comment on it before saying no it is not. just clarifying it. i don't like being a suspected little whore, it feels dirty, thanks chop Go back and read the whole thread and then you'll understand.

And should NEVER happen again without a beginning and ends at post. I am fucking serious to, I REALLY don't want to see anything like that without.

ROFL, practically??? You are very undersized then. They are friggin ridiculously teeny on the inside. they look the same on paper; dunno oh well I've driven both (e55 & C63) and the E I am SUPER comfortable in, the C is smaller than my old E36 BM'er. So much so that I can't really see stoplights out the windshield when I am at them. I got some real seat time in my sister's 328 yesterday for the first time. That thing is so small and nimble compared to my cars. Needs twice the horsepower though And in stock form it is still faster to 60 or 100 than your SS, just hides it better. Luckily more power is pretty easy to come by on those. maybe when the Imp was stock. and it does hide it really well, just quiet and smooth all the way to 6500 I meant stock to stock, sorry that wasn't more clear. And yes I still agree it is grossly underpowered, just softening your statement a bit.

Sound imaging software
If you buy an EV system it will come with software that does what you are looking for, but don't expect it to be cheaper. Also, don't expect to solve your problems with trial and error. Not really possible. Again your description of what is wrong and what you are trying to do isn't here. You REALLy need to spend more time thinking when you make threads. You've been here long enough to realize this.

SQ Three Way Front Stage
Obviously you know nothing about sound deadening. Mass is the name of the game in a barrier, but not deadening. And yes mat is NOT a good barrier. You should re-read your own posts before posting again. ROFL. I responded about mass when you stated all sound deadener does is add mass and my response was "it is the name of the game in a barrier, but not deadening". If this doesn't insinuate mass per unit area perhaps you could clarify how you read that. When you buy things in sheets the area is expected to be a given. Let's make this easier on all of us, I have a real EASY bit of homework for you. Google Modal Damping and then explain to me how the DAMPING changes with mass (for extra credit you can then summarize and extrapolate how adding mass to a door panel works, and while you are at it perhaps you can tell us why it is called Dampener). After that go ahead and google the STC for a closed cell foam and then for lead sheeting and its closest cheap approximation mass-loaded vinyl. If you need to, do a bit of research and figure out what STC is first As for the experience pissing contest, I'll refrain from comparing your "experience" with mine. That definitely is a route that you don't want to go down in particular if you are not familiar with Modal Analysis.

Your input on my component system
Doors have many problems that kickpanels address and improve upon. Don't use your performance from a door to indicate performance in kickpanels. Also, "low" is a relative term. Good kickpanels will still allow for a soundstage above the dash. Good kickpanels with intelligent use of processing will allow just as high a soundstage as anything else. There are several problems with separating the tweeters. It can take more advanced processing and skill to obtain good results due to a few different reasons, and as M5 pointed out there are issues with reflective surfaces. High soundstage with no effects to the frequency response is not possible in either the doors or the kicks. In fact PLD has nothing to do with stage height and generally speaking the higher the speaker the higher the soundstage....hmm, imagine that. The doors also have many advantages over kicks in particular for midbass response as it is very easy to get the volume you need so you aren't cramping the driver. There are of course ways to expand the volume in the kickpanel but they require more aggressive techniques that those in the doors. It is much easier to get the tweeter closer to the mid and also to not have rattles in the kicks, but if you aren't going to put a ton of effort into the install the doors can benefit you across the board. Much easier to pull off a good install and easier to eq/set it up as well.
