Welcome to the IHoP
dammit why didn't I remember to think of PE when I needed a digital audio cable yesterday. I went to Best Buy and bought a damn monster cable for $45 because that's all they had. I hate monster. Could have bought a Dayton cable on PE for like 12 bucks. return the shit to b.b. I didn't think they'd let me return something after I had to completely mangle the packaging to get at the product. Not sure if I still have the scraps of packaging or not. Considering that the sales guy told you that is the cable that you needed but it isn't the right type they ought to.

One of my recent favorites, hate that TG is not on On Demand anymore. haha that's hilarious. When he stops to admire the underwear model picture in the mall, the smoke grenades in the cupholders, how many clips of ammo can fit in the glove box, etc. haha! EASILY one of the funniest things I have ever seen. J <--feeling old and in the dark

A SHO that has been taken care of so well I wouldn't want even for the price of scrap. I was going to part it out. Only reason I made an offer. I should've realized you weren't crazy. Parting out makes sense.

Q 12's to 15's SQ Question
Your front stage. I'm not worried because i've tried out my front stage at full gain before & it's always been way more than I can handle, like painful to me. It's more the other way around, I've been looking for subs to keep up with my front stage cause I'm only at about 75% on the fronts right now. They're a good pair, probably one of the few things in my car that I never want to upgrade until they break. Good pair, like the way they sound, painful...whatever, still won't keep up. Not even close. Do yourself a favor. Play an 40hz note on your sub and a 80hz note on your mids and see which one is louder and then lets talk about "keeping up"

Nice work, but having such small enclosures is really cramping those drivers. Open them up into the doors, seal off the back wave and think how much of a driver you can fit in there space wise Curious as well if a 3-4" tweeter will fit.

Any pics of your current mounting?
-
SAZ-1000D for the midbass?
Or perhaps use mids that are more capable. 300Hz on a midbass could be made more than enough.
-
High end processors VS low end processors/receivers, hardware differen
In the same class you won't see that much difference. Either way, before even thinking about anything spendy like the above I surely hope you have WAY more than that in your speakers and room treatments.

I need to know how much watts max this is
You are NOT a Q buyer, not even close. Get the BL or if you want louder get the BTL. The BTL will be Fi's loudest sub even if you are comparing all of them at only 15watts.

$1000 can easily buy pretty much any pair of mids and tweets What are your mounting locations, size limitations, listening preferences, and of course is there anything that you have heard that you really like?

Welcome to the IHoP
It is so fun. Watching the big splash as they attack, never knowing when it'll happen then BAM. I hadn't gotten into it until this year. I carry no less than 100 top water plugs with me at all times. On the deck of my boat there are usually at least two topwaters tied on. Do they work better in shallower water though? The reason I've never really used them before is because I've never had them work. But recently on my trip to Minnesota they worked for the river I fished on, and another time at a farm pond. That's pretty much it. I can't really get any lake fish to bite them here. They work well anywhere that fish are looking up. I've had smallies wallop topwater in 30' of water even though the graph showed them on the bottom. The key is to find the structure to throw them near. It is easy to see in the shallows, in the deep it is tougher to find.

Huh? Sub to 63Hz Mids 100 to 3.15kHz Tweets 2.25kHz+ If so you need to switch that up a bunch. You should underlap your tweet and mid it will make things sound better quick. As for recommendations what sort of space and budget do you have?

lowest recommended power & box size question
If it were a Q in my truck it would never really even see 200w, my Mach5 surely doesn't. You don't need anywhere near that power and if you think you do, you should buy a BL and not a Q
-
gaahh one of my subs blew
well there is a coating of some sort of plastic that that put of for shiping and that you need to met it but putting it at less than 1/4 of your or you with make it buble and make it all like this Anyone reading disregard this. You won't harm your sub if you don't break it in.

From: Horse then buggy not the other way around
If that is truly your goal the last thing you need is another nine.1, nor an alternator. Aargh, old thread

Not sure I can take too much credit for helping...I'd never rec'd a sealed enclosure for the mid in a 2 way. While it can be done it takes more than just building one box. You are choking them big time and need to open that up to let them breath. On top of that it would really help to use a driver that had some midbass capability and considering you are running active that wouldn't be ones in a comp set.

Q 12's to 15's SQ Question
That won't "keep up" with a single 10 more or less two 15's. That was a box problem. The IDMax is not anywhere near my favorite driver, but don't fault the driver for the install.

Yes, and stupidly it only happens like that when I've already had too many. I am great at that one. "Come on, just one more **five drinks later**"
