Torn between 50.4 and 125.2
Well you can't run your comps and "rear fill" off the 125.2 as you need 4 channels. Still a bad idea to add rears.

Welcome to the IHoP
Newegg ... I've used them a ton since they started Newegg.ca and I've been very satisfied with their service and prices.512 MB + Vista = Brutal ... If you don't plan on overclocking, don't bother investing in high-end RAM ... Just get the basic stuff (Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, OCZ, Buffalo, Samsung, Mushkin, and Patriot are all good brands; get whatever is the cheapest). Holy crap, what's up? Talk about timing.

how do you know what frequency to tune a box to?
Those pioneers play low all day and really dont pick the highs up tp well, so tuning at the point is worthless period. I have had experience with these pioneers and they dig the lows like 15"s and 18"s. My box now is tuned to 30Hz, digs deep and gets loud; if I were you I would tune between 28-30Hz. Trust me you will love it. If you're box is tuned at 30 hz it won't pick up the higher notes as good as a box which is tuned to 45 hz. Most people tune the box to around 30-38hz. A box tuned to 33-34 hz will pick up the lows in almost every song. LOL, tuned to 45hz. My Low Pass is lower than that.

sub questions
And 10's in an optimized box will be WAY louder than 12's in a box being choked. Your problem is space. You need to design the biggest enclosure you can and then ask what to put in it.

Need Answers
From the way you are posting and your lack of information I'd guess that you don't have enough room for 2 10's ported.

Welcome to the IHoP
Tweaked my back after getting crap faced at the bowling alley with the whole company on Wednesday by sleeping funny. Folding myself in half to get on the little regional jet from John Wayne to here sucked big time.

IXL-15 Designs
I think since you posted a follow up you thought the above was a question, but I am not sure what you are asking... yeah my bad, i was wanting to point out the box i had, in the hopes of receiving an opinion about how it would match up with the mach 5 ixl-15's. if they will do real good in this enclosure. thanks for pointing that out to me ///m5! Pretty much a HT box that is tuned to high. Too "big" for the car, but that doesn't mean it won't work.

overheating.
My 2nd GM, first was a 68 Impala. And this one is most definitely my last. Momentary lapse of judgement when I bought it, complete piece of shit.

how do you fit 8 gauge in push button terminals
Stupid since 12ga will do. Twist caps are for solid core wire. True.... but at times we do things that work good and are reliable in our builds, even though they weren't intended by the manufacturer to do so.. that said i use the twist caps they come in handy and are easier to use especially if u have dd subs. Reliable and twist caps with stranded wire are not something that can be used in the same sentence. Just not a good idea.

need opinions on 3 way active setup
Of course, but the budget and specific application of many are all over the board. Some background would be useful.

need opinions on 3 way active setup
The eminence is crap, I would definitely use a 3 or 4" with the 8. Using a 6.5 gives tyou many negatives and no positives. I would also add that if you had room for a 6.5" and a neo tweet in the kicks moving up to a full size tweet and a 3 or 4 will also fit. No reason to use a Neo tweeter when you have space for a large format

IDMAX 10"
More than enough power to "sound decent".

Elemental designs sound deadening
Exactly. Deadener is not a rattle solution and personally I'd buy from Don before any of the other "deadening" companies. He is the only one I have seen actual prescribe a solution instead of just plugging something that he could sell. Plus I'll add I have a sample of his stuff and it all looks SUPERB
