You really can't mix and match crossovers and drivers. Bi-amping helps, but is still a terrible bandaid. Since you have the amplifier channels just run active!

Get him some milicon drops. Not sure if that's the right name, but the pharmacist will know wherever you go. My son had this problem and this was a simle cure. It also helps with acid which they are prone to have during the first 8 months. We have some but maybe need to give him more.
