  1. I personally don't like them, way too lively for my tastes. On top of that I would never recommend a passive 3 way setup, way too many compromises. If you want to go the way of the 3 way it is time to start looking at running active.
  2. Nice, a subjective poll without any parameters to help you make the right choice.
  3. Be pretty close to that. Why would you care about a pound or two? Why did you make two threads to ask the same question?
  4. You really can't mix and match crossovers and drivers. Bi-amping helps, but is still a terrible bandaid. Since you have the amplifier channels just run active!

Ouch, someone is going to read that and blow their sub. Personally if you are asking the question you should start out on the low end of things and see how that goes, not fun to blow something.

Get him some milicon drops. Not sure if that's the right name, but the pharmacist will know wherever you go. My son had this problem and this was a simle cure. It also helps with acid which they are prone to have during the first 8 months. We have some but maybe need to give him more.

On Saturday on the lake I think I heard "I'm on boat" at least 20 times. It is no longer funny and now VERY annoying. No more flippy floppies for me

just got a couple huge burps out of him. Funny how you can celebrate either farting or burping at this stage in life...I suppose it returns when you are teh old as well.

Aidan hasn't really slept for more than an hour in the past 24. Gassy little guy
  15. You need two completely different boxes then. One small and sealed and one large and ported and tuned higher than 32hz.

that's the pucking truth. Did you guys happen to read my motorcycle helmet at some point? Not yet, you'll have to share.

It's older. Amazing what all the extra "stuff" weighs.
  18. Perhaps you should check this the right way. Fill the tank, drive, fill and figure out your mileage. You will find it didn't change at all.
  19. As you imply the biggest gain you can have is to port what you have, be a lot cheaper than buying new subs as well. I wouldn't agree on the SS getting loud sealed, comes alive ported but not sealed.
  20. 4th order won't help your score, 6th might but a different ported box or different drivers will help the most. You aren't exactly using drivers made for output...
  21. You are EXTREMELY mathematically challenged. No way, no how did you gain 5mpg from an aircleaner. I'll be the first to admit GM is dumb, but they are not that dumb. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the stock air filter element had 98% or more of the flow of that K&N and of course the K&N ups the flow by filtering less. I am far from interested in running one of those in my vehicle.
  22. Not if they are installed correctly. Cut your attitude out right now, being a social menace isn't allowed. I've already warned you about this once, count this as twice, next time you'll get a vacation. Promoting the need/desire for a system that can be "heard" by others is not acceptable here. The OP doesn't know, but you should. I Think You're On A Serious Power Trip, Nowhere In That Statement Did I See Promotion Of Social Mischief Or Disturbance. He Was Just Stating A Known Fact And His Opinion To What The OP Wants. And promoting being "heard blocks away" is not acceptable on this forum. No power trip just sick of people who don't respect the site enough to spend time to formulate good threads and follow general guidelines that are setup.
  23. Again, it depends do you want Loud or Low. Pick 1. If it is Low you pick you should outline what you listen to as it will GREATLY change the definition.
  24. And you cannot hear the difference between 800w and 1000w anyways.
