The Avid's seems to do very well, the ES 100's were a softer sticker tire that in the end I did not need that much grip. the 328i took out my Avids in 2 months

It's the same with plywood. Aside from a worm drive, no circular saws really have enough power to safely use the "plywood" blades. Yep and are usually much better off with a fast cutting wood blade and a zero clearance insert. 16-18 teeth can cut clean.

my 880 was a pile, there's no way to adjust how fast the remote cycles through commands when using the activity feature. it went a little faster than my equipment would allow, throwing off the activity sequence every time One of the reasons I am going to use CQC, a USB-UIRT, and some uber cheap programmables *I'll make a thread, but not before the rest of my hardware gets here

Thats what I'm putting in my car next........... Either as a two way or with some metal dome tweeters up high for a 3 way. Jono On axis you won't need a tweeter with the 2", not even close

12" JL w7 D3 vs 12"SSA ICON D2
let's say $3000 equipment wise. true Just wanted to nest those to make sure as we can spend that budget .... you'll need at least that in the install to make it worthwhile then though. Considering this is the case, before taking any further steps we need to figure out your mounting locations.

To graduate where I went to school you have to pass a swimming test. When I showed up the first week to take the test I was still a certified life guard, but they nearly failed me since I couldn't float. We had to float on our backs for 2 minutes and I kept sinking. Funny too since I lapped everyone in the pool and was recruited by the swim team, but still nearly failed. I don't float.

For full rangers those are really pretty good choices. The Vifa TG9, Tangband W3, and Aura NS3 need some sort of help up top. In a 2" I really like the Peerless as well.
