Welcome to the IHoP
of me? Of getting to snowboard. I haven't been out in 3 years. 4 years for me. I'm horrible at it, but it's great fun. I raced on the team and used to teach private lessons, but still haven't gone. Too many other distractions, although if I have to choose one thing and one thing only in the winter I'll take the snowmobile.

Welcome to the IHoP
Cool. Don't forget to take your flooring and cabinetry into account. The lady we bought our house from put in some gorgeous green granite, but with white cabinets it is a bitch to find a natural floor that looks good with it. The wife came with, she is an artist. after doing the math it looks like we might have 70sq feet of countertop. We picked something lighter than I would have ever thought of, but when we brought the sample home it turned out to be more versitile than I expected. One of the pesices we picked out for a LONG stretch has a really nice patern on it too. Almost like a big asain dragon in the stone formations. We put a sticker on the peices, but one of them they couldn't find in their invintory.... if we don't get it we will have to try another shop. That will be hell. Don't be afraid to call places in St Cloud, sometimes they are significantly cheaper.

Sealed or Ported
Depends on what you mean by lows. Please stop using buzz terms to describe what you are looking for, it won't lead to good advice. 3" port is WAY too small, WAY

2" extended range Mid range/ tweet
The Morel doesn't play low enough, just a big tweeter. These get stellar reviews by everyone that hears them (for what they are) http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=8267 Probably better than the CDT's in many regards, but marketed and thus priced different.

Help me pick drivers for a 3 way front stage
Yes, 30degrees off axis the direction the driver would be 30degrees away from pointing straight at you. Obviously in your kicks these will be off axis, but it depends on how much you want to intrude on your foot space.

Welcome to the IHoP
Which one? They both need it, but that's easy. I love the Electric Green cars. The first one is a GT and will be heavily modded if I buy it. The second one is a Cobra and would only get a Kenne Bell. The Gray one is a Mach 1 and is already built and shooting 500 at the wheels. All are extremely well-priced too. I couldn't duplicate the engine and transmission for the price the guy is asking for the Mach. But can you cut the top off?

I am super pumped, but with only a few weeks left feel rather unprepared. There is no real way to be prepared. Just have some bags packed and the cell phone on at all times. there is no preparation at all..I was unprepared for the first and im darn sure unprepared for this one coming. However i find myself making it up as i go. Love him more then life though Cute little guy

IXL10 for SPL
Bridge would work. So would a two piece. Only the short part in the box for high tuning, long port out of the box as well for low tuning. *note this idea would also let you easily alter the port a bit and test for output and SQ

6 Components off 1 amp? Need Advice
Need way more information. In general this sounds catastrophic but without knowing what amp and what comps it is impossible to really tell.

2x 2000s or 1x3500?
Personally I'd always pick the single amp over a pair, but if you are chasing tenths it wouldn't be the right choice for you.

Some sort of sound problem with Rockford Fosgate P2D2 8" sub
What does it lack the most? One warning, you may have just bought into marketing. Personally I am not at all a fan of the p2's...

Help me pick drivers for a 3 way front stage
Crap, that was on my list when I starting making it but in the deleting of other options I whacked it by accident. Definitely a choice I'd recommend as well. It does a lot of things really well.

Switching up my front stage!
Hate to do this to you, but considering you are going to use the passives some double sided velcro or sticky tape will be your best friend here on choosing the tweeter locations and aiming. Generically speaking a bit lower in the a-pillar is where I would start and at least 30degrees off axis. From there it will depend on your car, the crossovers, and your listening preferences. I haven't heard of Black Hole. A link would be helpful as I'd like to do some research before commenting, but I will add unless for some reason you can get dynamat at wholesale there are better alternatives/$.

Help me pick drivers for a 3 way front stage
Kelvin, I just wanted to be sure to clarify as there is a lot of misinformation on the interwebz. Hopefully our discussion is helpful for others in the same situation. Ryan, as for some drivers. Here is a quick list. To narrow this down we should talk about aiming, processing and power. I know you have the 880 which will work well for this, but the amp will need some capabilities as well to take care of the "3rd" driver. Many other options as well, but these are all can't misses although that doesn't mean that they will all play nice with each other. I left off the Scan 12m even though it would be my personal pick as the buy in price is too high. A pair used typically go from $300-400 which would leave you with not much for the rest of the stage. If you were to find a pair for $300 though we could do the midbass and tweets with the remaining. Take a peak at some of the drawings of the drivers and hang out in your kicks and see how far off axis they will be. Some of these drivers are significantly better off axis than others. For example in the tweets, the XT19's are sweet but the farther off axis you go the less desirable they are if this was truly the case the LPG's are stellar off axis performers but I wouldn't run them on axis in my car. No worries on aiming for the midbass. I gave you some hefty options since you are not going to be running any sub. If you were we could lighten these a bit on the low end and save your doors some of the murder that you are going to apply to them, but personally I like the route you are going Tweet: Seas Neo $32 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...products_id=633 LPG 25nfa $43 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/index.php...acturers_id=138 Vifa XT 19 $41 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=1179 Morel MDT 29 $49 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...products_id=567 Peerless HDS Tweeter $78 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=1744 Midrange: Peerless 3
