Goal wasn't to piss you off, but set you straight as it seems you needed it. If you don't know about something you shouldn't respond. I say things like they are and don't hold back no matter who you are. Life is too short for bullshit politics. Simple solution, don't post shit and I won't call you out on it.

Hey, thanks man. That's kind of you but I drink my vokda neat extremely chilled or room temp. No need to heat it. "Naw man, it's my ba-ba!" Wow, he is starting to look more and more like you.

You're not alone..... I fired one once
  8. Do you have ANY searching capabilities???
  9. Do you have any measurement equipment? Do you understand thiele small parameters? My guess considering the question is no, in that case unless you choose a headunit that is active capable and run an amplifier channel for each driver it will be darn near impossible for you to build a passive crossover and have it sound good.

The install in my next car most likely will be subless.

Louder and sound better are counterproductive Low and ported are counterproductive Of course you could have a subjective definition of any of the above terms that doesn't make sense. Most likely you should be getting a BL and running it ported. From your posts I get the feeling that the sound better does not have anything to do with SQ and all to do with not being a fart cannon. In that case, the BL is your Fi driver.
  12. hate to say but right now i am going off of the capacitor....but i am gonna get a voltage guage in a few days! so don't worry! Step one, remove stupid useless capacitor and sell on craigslist or throw it away. Step two, go buy a multimeter from some electronics store. Get one with a reasonably fast response time otherwise you won't see the drop anyways. Then tell us what it is really doing. You may have no drop at all. BTW voltage gauges are not meant to do the measurement that you are doing, their sole goal is to show you that your alternator is working. In many OEM cars the voltage gauge isn't actually a gauge but an on/off switch that shows you a voltage.

    I like crapping on Wisconsin
  16. You have one other major problem. If it is in your backseat it will get stolen. Convertibles are great, but not when you expose big dollar installs in them. Some jackass will ruin your investment.
  17. I am wondering what you think the Pro's are More wiring options in the future, less stress on one amp, and I like it. Why wiring options? Less stress doesn't make sense. You can like what you like, I just don't see the Pro's. When in doubt using less amps is always a better idea.

I can't believe that is MN, if it said MO I'd believe it though. I live about an hour and a half from Apple Valley. I hope the purity army doesn't try to take over Winona. WSU? It better not leach over to Lake Minnetonka either. Last thing we need out by the island is someone to tell the women to put their clothes back on. Actually, Southeast Technical in Winona. I am glad its getting warm around here because I was beginning to wonder why I left Tucson's fantastic heat to come up here. I hear Lake Minnetonka is the place to be during the summer. That is why I bought a house on the shores of it. I hear it is snowing at home.

well you have never said anything to me untill today Sean also hasn't been around as much till lately, busy with work and life... Working 80hrs a week has a tendency to eliminate your internet time.

It is extremely frustrating that this is true and hopefully we can get it righted, but it will take an effort from all of the moderators and not just a few.
