I am curious as to how and why you think the Titanium amps are worlds better than Kicker or Fosgate.
  2. What are you using to measure the voltage drop?
  3. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Has nothing to do with mod powers either. I have always been this straight and to the point. If you can't take it, tough shit.

Considering this you should never, ever answer a thread on this forum. wow there you go being a dick head again. beacuse your a big badass moderator you can run your mouth without getting kicked. no other merterator has ever been an arseho, this was my favoret place to be i learned so much.. transfered from smd but the past couple posts you have responded to being an ass hole for no reason. isent the IHoP for when you feel like just posting chit that you have on your mind. oh well you can boot me or whatever but there is no reason to be an arseho beacuse im not understanding something and and frustrated about it Actually it isn't me being a dick but you. When you don't know the basics how can you help anyone? Considering your lack of knowledge it is preposterous that you would attempt to help someone as you are extremely likely to give them bad advice. Truly bad class to continue to pretend to help people when you have no idea what you are talking about. I didn't say you shouldn't post in the Hop just that you shouldn't use the guise of knowing something and post an answer in someones thread. Clipping is pretty much car audio 101, if you don't understand it you really don't understand hardly anything about amplifiers.

Get ready for future troubles that are similar with the AQ. Hifonics :( The Sundown on the other hand will give you many years of good use, so get it but do build a real box at the same time.
  6. The Manual says Selectable On/Off 24dB/Octave -6dB at 20Hz By switching it on then, it is pretty close to "setting it at 25hz"
  7. Where is it grounded to and what kind of car? Sell the 360.1 and get the .2
  8. I helped my old roomate lose a bunch of weight by switching his diet focusing on more natural foods via tons of vegetables. Instead of eating a triple cheeseburger, I forced him to eat 12 cups of veggies a day. His weight and size dropped quickly and his energy levels skyrocketed. Basically if it comes from the fruit/veggy or meat section of the grocery it is good calories in my book. Coming from anywhere processed and packaged I'd be wary. I cut all pop out of my diet a while back, but couldn't substitute with only water. I am now addicted to sparkling water as it gives me the fizz I crave, but goes with anything. If you feel you need a soda, give it a shot. At first you probably won't like it but it will grow on you. At this point I am so addicted I am going to build myself a carbonator. Good luck and keep posting here. The more you communicate your toils the easier it will be for you to keep focused. Like DemBeats I find it inspiring that you are doing this here.
  9. 3sixty.1 cannot do active, only the .2 It also only has set equalizer frequencies that aren't in the greatest ranges. It can do a factory integration though. At the moment I don't see any value in it for your installation and it is almost guaranteed to add noise not remove it since they aren't known for being quiet in the first place.

  11. Best recommendation anyone can give you first is to go listen to some setups and determine what you like and don't like and repost that information.
  12. It might make the engine noise worse. Have you replaced the ground to your h/u? What else have you done to try and be rid of the noise? What are you goals and purpose for the 360.1?

That's exactly the issue. I'm still trying to learn a lot but to be quite honest it's hard to find all the answers you need when you search and some BS just comes up, irrelevant to the question at hand, with no solution. Not saying that stupid, simple threads are justifiable, just that it gets real frustrating. I know I've learned a lot from this site in the short time I've been here but still got a LONG way to go. Exactly why things needed to be modded in such a way to insure that threads are useful. Then your searching would be more fruitful. Although, you will find if you make a thread that says I searched for this, and this, and this and couldn't find what I was looking for and here is my question and why I am wondering you will get great answers.
  14. I'd put my money on preferring the Mantz design in that A/B. I am still in line.

Note, the forum I referred to above is not audio related. Someone just asked so I thought I'd clarify.

and they normally completely ignore them, not even close Of course my favorite forum, if you did that just once you'd be banned permanently. By far the best search function on that forum ever since all the threads are useful. Search on ca.com once and realize that all you get is shit. There was a time when searching here yielded mostly good results, but letting this mayhem continue will take that away.

And if they did the site would go to hell really, really, really fast. Quickest way to get me to not come here would be to let this happen. The average thread has gotten significantly worse in the past year and the only way to correct this is to be sure to let people realize that they can't post threads that way.

    that car deserves better
  21. And they usually compare a car with no electrical anything to one that is fully loaded. Funny how now that Toyota is starting to add more of it they are no longer the reliability leader. Japanese reliability was something that was true in the 80's and 90's, but is a really old outdated concept as regularly their American counterpart is better in that regard although the media sure won't pull their head out of their ass. The German cars have issues as well so no carte blanche recommending them, but there are definitely models that are superior in both drivability and reliability. And the best part of a German car is they are actually fun to drive unlike their Japanese counterparts.

Considering this you should never, ever answer a thread on this forum.
  23. I feel the same way. I've driven a bunch of them and never been impressed and all my friends that have Nissan's or Infinities seem to have really stupid problems. On the other hand my experience with German cars is the exact opposite.
